About bloody time, Vin! What have you been up to? Working out how best to do the thread? We’ve been waiting for ages ....... Anyway - nice one, son .........
Not in Vin’s universe ..... he takes weeks to put together a match thread, then slips in a deliberate mistake for the pedants amongst us to pick up upon .........
Excellent test of where we are this season. Newcastle and Villa were solid wins, but against sides I expected us to be competing against this season and was targeting to finish above of. (Leeds and West Ham being other examples in that same bracket.) However Everton, Wolves and Leicester I still thought would be too good for us over the course of 38 games. Well so far, it's one win from one on that front...
I used to get pickled before games but now I have a spring in my step as I walk home thinking about our keeper's string of saves.
Reckon it will be a tight game that can go either way. No result will surprise me so I'm saying a draw. We should be fresher than them anyway seeing as they're away to Croatia tomorrow night.
Referee: Andre Marriner. Assistants: Simon Long, Richard West. Fourth official: Jonathan Moss. VAR: Paul Tierney. Assistant VAR: Gary Beswick. Andre knows his onions.
I hope he’s still doing threads in the spring. He’ll have to fit them in between all his other activities. Inter alium, as it were.
Don't worry he'll sandwich them all in somehow even if he does beef about it a lot. In this life you can't always cherry pick what you have to do.
He’s done well to gO NI ON Seven games without a loss All I um worried about is what we do if his run ends We’ll have to bring some new scally on Is it really still almost a week before we play again!
I have to confess I have a secret soft spot for Wolves. They have one of the best kits anywhere in football; I’ve always loved that Old Gold. Their manager is one of very few people in the world who can successfully rock facial hair. He also has the best surname in all of sport. Robert Plant and Noddy Holder are both Wolves fans. All these things will make beating them this weekend, and finishing above them next May, all the sweeter.
