Match Day Thread Wolves v Saints 29th September 3pm

Welcome to Sotonsaint’s first ever matchday thread and quite possibly his last, but we’ll see...

This is Saints first trip to the midlands this season..?(I think and I can’t really be ****ed to check) and will face a tough test against newly promoted Wolves who spent big in the summer pretty much buying every Portuguese player who was brain dead enough to give up sandy beaches and sangria and move to the Black Country .

I don’t have a scuba Steve who the officials are, but I’m sure resident referee @tomw24 luigi Collina will fill in those blanks for anyone who has an interest in that kind of thing.

Last time out both clubs travelled away up to the north west. Wolves were at Old Trafford and came away with well deserved point , while Saints on the other hand were busy getting their pants pulled down in a 3-0 defeat at Liverpool.

Injuries and suspensions is anybody’s guess and again I can’t be ****ed to check.

I think that’s it, sotonsaint over and out...

I had a great idea for a swearing match thread where every one who posted had to use at least one naughty word per post. My post about this match I think Saints will win a half but be proper **** in the other half and lose by the odd goal.

 

My language is pretty shocking I’m well aware, no offence is ever meant ,it’s just how I am

 

Big game. Bit of a litmus test to see how far we have come this season, against a very decent wolves team.
Would have been happy with a draw, had we beaten Brighton at Home. But that sucker punch makes me feel like we need to win this one now.

 

I like people who are able to write just how they say it. Good post SSt.
Ps. Wonder how many will put Maya in their team again, only to be totally disMayad ?

A bit of advise, IF you wear your colours, put a coat or something over the top when outside the ground as their fans are not very hospitable to put it politely. Be warned please

First proper away of the season for me and a new ground too. Reckon it will be a good game and fancy us to edge a 5 goal thriller. Ings with a brace.
