Wolves were up for it from the start, we weren't.

    It's hard to praise mediocrity.

But same goes right back at you. I'm guessing you defended him even when he got red carded vs Swansea.

Not even one bad word about Greggsy's horrible blunder. Where's the realism? Don't worry, criticising a player won't stop you from getting Best fan award.

That's the whole point of this forum. Discuss and argue about anything related to football. Not sure this "better luck next time *tap on the back*" is going to get us very far.

I should have put this on the Accrington thread but I just didn't have time this week. Did anyone hear the PA at half time? The announcer said that if any of the away supporters needed the toilet, they could use both ends of the stand! I'm guessing Wolves were a bit more up market today.

I'm still thinking of the rubbish set pieces.
Even the penalty was rubbish. Why kick the ball relatively gently down the middle?
Don't we practice penalties? If we did and Jelavic came up with something like that Bruce should change the penalty taker.

Much the same as we were against Accrington, slow & pedestrian like. We picked it up in the last 20 minutes or so but I think this was more down to Wolves tiring than to us upping our game.

I'm hoping us looking cumbersome is more to do with the new faces fitting in rather than a few of them not looking match fit.

Chubs looks the business & well up for it, We'll develop, get fitter & improve. It's not the end of the world.

Not into player bashing but Mac's dropped bollock was a biggie. We can't afford for his confidence to go, so I say give him some support, he's the best we've got for now.

    We move on, unbeaten.

Still looks a bit disjointed and not quite mobile enough , elmo was quiet , jelavic did very little again Hayden was poor , I know it's early days but clucas looks very much a lower league player , pluses for me were Davies and Akpom , odubajo was ok to but to me he has him and elmo The wrong way round .

If Meyler had done the right thing and hit the ****ing thing first time we'd have had three points.

I'd read that McGregor had done it again but until seeing this video clip I had no idea what shocker it was. It was a simple cross requiring an easy, basic catch and he cocked it up. I do not feel any confidence in our chances of promotion with him as our No. 1. I hope I'm wrong but think he's liable to cost us too many points.

They're both **** although Hayden was just as bad - Brucie must have told him to pass backwards cos that's all he did - I didn't think we would sign someone worse than Meyler - I was wrong

If you write this to describe 3-5-2 as a formation (rather than how we cobbled it), it's certainly not condescending to tell you that you don't understand it as you are well off the mark.

I think you're confusing the tactics of Steve Bruce and the effectiveness of a formation if applied correctly. With the players we had 3-5-2 was taylor-made for us, but when injuries bit deep other options were called for and they weren't.
