I must admit, me and all around me had a chuckle despite the hopelessness, when El-Abd got 'tackled' by that puddle - right in front of where we were sat. Every time we had possession anywhere near we shouted 'mind the puddle' !!!!

He was good, they were raving about him on the Radio Brummie after the game.
I didn't realise that Kevin Doyle was still there, they are desperate to get rid of him apparently he's on a cracking wage and don't want to leave as he knows he won't get the same money. Can't believe footballers these days you do a job you love but some just sit on their arse without a care for their club as long as they are getting paid.

    Completely expected result and performance.
I predicted 3-0 and City surprised me and scored !
What is more concerning is Oldham coming back from 3-0 down to win 5-4

    Feb is our Waterloo

We have to beat the teams around us, crewe, Stevenage, notts co, tranmere

We lose to them or even draw we're down.

We have had many of them over the years, pay as you play would sort it,and you would have players playing at their best, not when they feel like they want to turn up and play.

I'm not expecting anything in Tuesday, but we HAVE to get 3 points next Saturday against Carlisle, and then follow that up with home wins against Coventry and Tranmere - games are already starting to run out. By the end of Feb there will only be 13 games left.

If we can get anything on our travels at Orient, Oldham or Sheff Utd then we'll be up around 15th come March which is an interesting month fixture wise.
Home games with Gillingham, Swindle and Port Vale and trips to Shrewsbury, Peterborough, Colchester and Rotherham. Some 6 pointers in there as well.

'But RP and I seemed to see completely different players when Lee J played'

Is that the LJ who couldn't get a contract at L2 Chesterfield, and dropped from a pub league side in Scotland.
And then had to retire at 31.
No - can't be the same bloke.

I told Cotterill last week he can't play the useless Gillett and Reid in the same side.
Did he listen - No - So serve the stupid bu**er right.
3-1 down and he takes Gillett off for Pack ffs.
    Ass about face !

Don't talk to me about fu**ing Parish and Fontaine or was it Williams.

No idea mate - my interest in him is restricted to his time with us - as is Gillett (and all players). I don't judge players by what other teams they can or can't get into - if I did then that would suggest that the entire squad of 2008 were not even fit to play for the Dog and Duck.
Bizarrely though they got to a Championship playoff final. Must have been luck.

Gillett has only just arrived and Lee left years ago.

I sure that where we find ourselves today might have something to do with the utter dross that we have seen IN BETWEEN?

    Maybe not - still puzzled.

Agree about Williams though - but the whole defence was shocking.
I thought we had finally plugged those gaps.
