Just back from the game. Nervy scrappy game, once we were ahead there wasnt much urgency to kill the game off, nothing was sticking when trying to move forward and their wing play kept us pinned back. Saying that, rushed clearences kept gifting it back to them and there was many occasions where Bart should never have been called upon. Hunt was the only effective substitution. Could see the logic behind putting Ando on - try and take the wing play to them - but it just went to highlight our lack of top standard wingers. Don't understand why Wood came on, wasn't confident that chance would turn into a goal - Sears wasn't as effective as he has been but by taking Sears and Bishop off we lost both our ball carriers. overall, happy with a point and we got what we came for - but as always style of play wins no awards.
Fair assessment Mike..........I think whatever happens between now and the seasons end.....next season will see at least 2 new wingers......and it's probably the hardest position to find a consistent performer even with £££££s let alone a budget.
If you had watched Barça, you would realise how poor they were!! I wouldnt even compare us to Barnsley atm, let alone Barca!! God i hope the Fulham thing happens but sadly i cant see them being that stupid, just my opinion you understand!!
It's definately squeaky bum time looking at today's games..... Whatever happens it seems our season will go to the final day with something to play for............that makes a nice change IMO.

Indeed weighty, i think we will draw against florist and lose against Blackburn, will that be enough? Im not so sure, maybe gd will play a part!!
Three points will do it now with our superior GD, win against Forest and our play off place is pretty much secured.

I would hate going to Blackburn needing a win!! Cant see us getting anything there, unless Mick plays a midfield of Ando, Chaplow, Skuse Tabb, then we may get a point
I would have liked to see Williams come on instead of Wood when substituting Sears, putting the numbers in the midfield to overwhelm them, give us more short passing options and help move the ball to Murphys feet. But as we were struggling to pass the ball to a blue shirt I can see why throwing a second target man on must have felt a good idea. It's just a shame Wood can't find his shooting boots.
Wolves were always going to really go for it. They have some fast paced forwards that were always going to cause some problems. By the sound of things it wasn't a great display by us, but do I care? No not at all. We play to our strengths. We had to stop them winning and be cautious when going forward. The plan worked and 7 points from 9 and needing 3 points from last two games is fantastic considering the situation after the Huddersfield defeat. Florist is like the Cardiff game now, a must win to take the pressure off the final day. We are more than capable.
Just got back - thoughts - " Sorry guys but this really is ****, passing etc is piss poor!! " = Yes it is poor the passing - but we're the most direct side, we won the battles and did what we had to do - SADLY Wolves like Derby Norwich Bournemouth are a far better passing side - if we try to pass it around - which we're not used to we're gonna get pasted. Take Boro away - first half from a passing point of view we were superb. We bombed on second and got stuffed 4-1! End of the day, that's a superb draw. YES it's not sexy football, but I couldn't care less. Results business, McCarthy knows what he's doing and with ONE win needed we've got a very very good chance of the play offs. I thought however Anderson was horrific - Tabb very poor in possession - Mings a hell of a lot better - Berra unbelievable - Chambers POOR and Wood - FINALLY you've offered something. Very very pleased given Brentford drawing and Derby also drawing. COYFB !!! Get in there. What a season!
