Yep, it was a good performance at a tough ground, some fans are not satisfied unless we win every game 2 or 3-0.
There’s alway some fans who are idiots. But it seems like everyone here at least is fairly happy with the point.
Battling performance. That's what I wanted today. Very pleased. But Wolves were poor and we were a tad lucky to go in at 0-0-
After their away win at city I thought we might lose today.......but a point away is great......tad unlucky not to get all 3 Good save from JWP late on ......but the ref bought all their cheap fouls .
True. A point is a point and can only help things. Whatever the balance of play stats are, the key today was ideally not to lose or put in a performance in which we didn’t deserve to lose, even if we had. So let’s hope Friday we see more of the improvements made today and less of the moments when ‘we’re all over the place’! Well done away supporters again.
We've had a fairly tough run of fixtures to start the season but I think we will have a better picture of where we are at by the new year. After we play Citeh away we have a run of 9 games up to January that are all winnable apart from maybe Arse and the Chavs away. It is imperative that we start winning more games at SMS though, we have become too much of a soft touch at home for too long now.
Just read on Twitter their fans thought we had the ref biased all game? What match was they watching? Constant going to ground and got awarded a pen that shouldn’t have been.
True, true but one comment made me laugh.....they reckoned Romeu had taken the ref out to dinner the night before.
Ffs how **** are we. Seriously you lot on here are ****ing deluded. We are that **** we can't even lose nowadays.
Home, rum and curry...pretty happy with that performance and earning a well deserved point Different tactics and successfully killed the game and shut the noisy crowd up in the first half. In a European game you would have been happy with that Second half was more open, scored a lovely goal but struggled afterwards as Wolves tried to actually play and we had a tough mid half. They scored and we were shell shocked and you could see the panic but we came through it to take more control again. Love VAR! You should have heard the Wolves fans moaning after the game...robbed by VAR! LOL
Robbed by truth. I would've taken a point before the game. Got p*ssed off by the penalty, then worried my way to the end in a good old fashioned Saints manner. We have two targets this season. Prem survival and keeping R H. The two maybe linked.
We've already achieved one long overdue target from my perspective by humiliating the Skates. I don't think that we will be in a relegation battle in 2020 the only thing is whether Ralph gets frustrated or believes in the club enough to stay longer. I can only hope that he does.
Looking at their pen today, it suggests the players can still try and deceive the ref, but must make it look very believable. Do that, and var won't disagree. The lad looked for PEH's leg, and duly took it. If that had been our player, I'd have wanted a pen, but would have felt cheeky asking!
