Do all roads lead to Friday nights top of the table showdown with Wolves? Win and we go up, lose and we face the Playoffs? Maybe not as plain cut as that equation but it will be one hell of game on Friday night. Season defining or not? Two big CS's from last nights dramatic point snatch. @BluefromBridgend reignites any faint title hopes with 4 points after several close calls - you feel he'll need at least another to mount any challenge mind. Probably a bigger 4 points for @Barry Tiger - his improvement in form post Christmas finally see him clear of the drop zone (but has his move come to soon?
Reminds me of a big night game against Hereford years ago, place was rocking with 35,000 (hmmmm..). An unlikely 2-0 win was good enough then and would be good enough now for sure! 2-0 City, Zohore please! One for each bollock!
I'd take a draw right now but I don't think our team would. Warnock should stick a photo of the Championship team of the season in the dressing room. Our boys will have a point to prove. So, Cardiff 2 Wolves 0 Zahore Cheers Sheep.
That was a while ago Masky. It was my first ever game at Ninian Park as I was moving to Cardiff and my new employers took me to the match. Been a Bluebirds supporter ever since. Must be about 40 years ago?
Hope we win but I think this will be a draw. Hell what do I know? I'm off to division 2 next year Bluebirds 1-1 Wolves. Morrison with a bullet header from a set piece.
Oh dear, Jay's gone for a win for us. I was going to say "Kiss of death" but then again he's only 1 behind me in correct results and made 9 fewer predictions so perhaps it's not a bad shout.
My first game as well. Place was mental. Check out the link below (A Hereford Fan Site....some nice footage for those 'of a certain age!!!) Hereford United v Cardiff City - From the archives[/paste:font] By Matt Healey The Bulls and the Bluebirds have always had a healthy rivalry. On the 14th April 1976 a crowd of 35,459 at Ninian Park witnessed Cardiff defeat Hereford 2-0 in the old Division Three. Unfortunately I don't have footage of that game, but I do have a selection of matches from the early to mid 1990's . Cardiff always bought a good following to Edgar Street.
We always went to the Lansdown of a pint (or four) before the game a stroll to the ground and stand beneath the cameras. This game we only managed to get by the lights between the Bob Bank & the Canton Stand it was mental.
Managed to get on the Bob Bank 20 minutes after the start. Never got a programme though. Went to Edgar Street a couple of times with Newport. One win one loss. The win in Newport's Div. 4 promotion season. I think Nigel Vaughan got the only goal. A nice easy away trip
I am looking forward to this match. Me thinks a high scoring game in prospect with City doing the double over Wolves. City 3 Wolves 2 - Hoilett to net for the Bluebirds
