What a load of crap. They turn up for glamour games and they are then classed as being the same as the people who go no matter who we are playing. The only thing simple here is yourself.

I did a post a while ago about whether the city of Hull and a lot of its inhabitants, councillors and the media deserved a PL club. Could you imagine people in Sunderland or Newcastle going around laughing about the local team being relegated and rubbing it in to fans?

I dealt with ****s like that all last night having a pop at City. 2 ****ers born in Hull loved it cos they are Newcastle fans...****ers. The only true words of regret came from a personal friend of mine who was born in South Shields and now lives on Black and Amber Way on the Boothferry Park Housing estate. He was in a pub in Newcastle celebrating but never took the piss but said it was a shame and that we would be back.

A couple of mancs were in Parkers pissed up dancing & singing! When I was walking out they came over to me & said " sorry you've gone down & we shouldn't be dancing " which I thought was nice of them. Then I walk in Albert & people from hull are taking the piss! One even asked the dj to put status quo on ( down down )

Sad pathetic losers, there's nothing worse than those glory hunting scum. No matter though, if anything they make me feel all the more proud of being a born and bred Hull City fan <cheers>

Also says that Jelavic, N'Doye N'Doye Hernandez have indicated they do not wish to have to soil their boots in te Championship.

Got a letter from the club last week apologising for the noise, dirt and inconvenience the lorries will cause. Starts tomorrow according to the letter for 6 weeks.

I thought it would come crashing down on me once the final whistle blew, but surprisingly it didn't and I was/am okay. We had some great moments over these last few years and got to see the club in places that we never thought it would be.

    Those nasty Allams eh?
It was better in the 'good old days' when the owners wouldn't even mend the leaking roof in the gymnasium and we had to beg the university to let us train there.
That £1.6m upgrade is more then all the other owners of Hull City over the last 111 years put together have spent on training facilities for this club. Now add the money already spent on the Academy and that is some commitment.

This is Hull City AFC's money they're spending, not Allam money. Not one more penny, remember?

The Allams are Hull City, like it or not, the buck stops with them.
If 'Hull City AFC' owe money who do you think pays it? There is no mister Hull City, no fairy godmother, no well behind the East Stand where they send a bucket down and it comes back up full of £50 notes.
    Someone has to be accountable.
Someone has to be the guarantor at the Bank.
Someone has to take the initial risk.
And I think the name change is a lousy idea and the time and energy spent on it has certainly had an effect on our relegation.

Your right there is no fairy godmother. The contracts for the improvements may have been signed long before relegation was a possibility which means that the £1.6 million has to come from the club's now reduced income, unless they paid cash upfront.

Does anyone know what actually the £1,6M is being spent on?

Good, let's face it they hardly soiled their boots in the Premier League, and are a major reason why we'll be playing in the Championship next season.

They can **** the **** off for me!

Pretty weird that I don't feel depressed at all about relegation ( anymore- i did a little when newcastle scored their second)
Still worry about the state of the club in three months but otherwise looking forward to championship season. A little bit ironic however that we'd all potentially enjoy a season with many wins and few losses but only to be rewarded by entry to the league we were comforted in leaving. How about finishing 3rd and losing in play off final?

Yeah, well said by just about everyone. I guess promotion and relegation require a fairly philosophical outlook. Like most on here, by the sound of things, I had pretty much come to terms with the inevitable even before the whistle blew to start the last game - even though I did engage in the usual degree of supporters self-delusion.
To be honest, I think what I will miss most is being able to watch the matches live on TV. Instead I'll be scrabbling around on the computer looking for a telecast.
Anyway, have a great summer everyone. Come on England - win the Ashes back!
