Bale is certainly not twice as good as is Definately not worth double of Suarez.

Anyway, general comment. How can we compare Suarez to Bale? They're hardly like for like.

 

Let us not forget that Bale is no doubt about to go to Spain, as I can't see how else Spuds can cover the costs of all their record breaking transfers this year.

Without Bale, I don't think Spuds are even top 10 this year. Their better players are all new and in need of bedding in.

Didn't see the game (or highlights), not sure who started but they (Spurs) could have had a fair few "new" starters in the team, so regardless of opposition they'd still need time to bed in?
I think we'll be closer to the top 4 than we were last year but right now Top four is most likely going to be made up of, in no particular order, Chelsea, ManU, City and Spurs, with the likes of us and Arsenal not too far behind..
