Between the 30th Nov and 1st Jan we played 8 games, so we can quite easily accommodate 9 games in a month I reckon starting on Sat 30th May and playing every Sat/Sun (5 games each day) and Weds/Thur (5 games each day) until it's done. Most teams will have virtually empty treatment rooms (unless players get injured when they come back to training). 5 subs allowed per game and scrap the remainder of the FA Cup. It's all premier league teams left in it anyways so it's not like some lower league club is gonna miss out on a bumper pay day and the priority has to be finishing the league. Charity Shield and European places can be decided based on League Positions alone.
It's clearly gonna be played behind closed doors so no fans, so playing home/away has no advantage so pick enough grounds so the pitches don't get ****ed too quickly, shouldn't be a massive issue this time of year and televise the lot. It's easily do-able if thought about properly...jesus I reckon we could all get our heads together and come up with a format.
Season has to be finished in my book. If they wanna finish the domestic league first and then perhaps look at finishing the FA Cup in a slightly different format for quickness I wouldn't be against that but if it can't be done then I ain't that fussed really. We'll win it next year anyways with Haaland and Mbappe and Messi anyways.
