West Ham’s Karen Brady
Recons the season should end now

Maybe the third bottom spot should be contested as a playoff
And the bottom three are relegated
That would include West Spam
She wouldnt be so cocky then (Oh maybe she would)
Top three of the championship get promoted unless there is 2 or more teams on the same number of points
And like wise through the leagues

Which means Scumberland miss out again <laugh>

Postponement isn't an issue at all. If we move back the Euros and sacrifice a domestic cup competition we can play more league games next year.

I suggested we move the start of next season back, cancel the Carling cup (And it's lower league equivalent) And play more games at the beginning of the season. Then we end next season normally, play the Euros and have a few less world cup qualifiers.

It's not that big a deal.

Players contracts will expire June/July, how will that balance out? It would require a worldwide agreement from clubs and players to ammend contracts. Clubs' day to day revenues will be disrupted with no games, outside of the top 10-15 clubs in this country I don't think many are well funded enough not to need that for survival. Staff's salaries will still need to be paid, if they are only employed ad-hoc, it will impact on the wider society too.

Sponsorship and TV companies that have already paid into the pot, will want their product.

It might sound like it's all about £££, but unfortunatley it really is. If players, agents, etc didn't take such a disproportionate amount of the revenue out of the club, there might be a bit more wriggle room.

Karen Brady became a ****ing parody of herself ever since she's been on the Apprentice. Previously a role model for women, now a hated reality TV wannabe.

A season is a season, and it's gonna be finished, just cos your train wreck of a club are out of the drop zone don't mean it can finish now.

The league will get finished, even if it’s behind closed doors. **** clubs like West Ham and Villa can suck balls. They stink and will sink into the abyss hopefully in the Summer.

**** them.

Between the 30th Nov and 1st Jan we played 8 games, so we can quite easily accommodate 9 games in a month I reckon starting on Sat 30th May and playing every Sat/Sun (5 games each day) and Weds/Thur (5 games each day) until it's done. Most teams will have virtually empty treatment rooms (unless players get injured when they come back to training). 5 subs allowed per game and scrap the remainder of the FA Cup. It's all premier league teams left in it anyways so it's not like some lower league club is gonna miss out on a bumper pay day and the priority has to be finishing the league. Charity Shield and European places can be decided based on League Positions alone.

It's clearly gonna be played behind closed doors so no fans, so playing home/away has no advantage so pick enough grounds so the pitches don't get ****ed too quickly, shouldn't be a massive issue this time of year and televise the lot. It's easily do-able if thought about properly...jesus I reckon we could all get our heads together and come up with a format.

Season has to be finished in my book. If they wanna finish the domestic league first and then perhaps look at finishing the FA Cup in a slightly different format for quickness I wouldn't be against that but if it can't be done then I ain't that fussed really. We'll win it next year anyways with Haaland and Mbappe and Messi anyways.

What? We were going to win it this year.
It would be nice to win something before the money comes along

Hadn't thought about that like, don't want people coming along singing "Where were you when you were ****?"

We'll mostly sing back "we were swimming in the faeces of Mike Ashley, thanks".

League should just be ended, so we have a chance at restarting in September. Transfer window should be open from now until 31st August.

I get Brady's self-serving but it is what it is and should just stop it where it is. Play-offs don't exist, top 3 go up (and they should now think about cancelling play-offs entirely, and definitely remove the League Cup completely).
