I did read somewhere that with the rules of FFP strictly adhered to, we can send more than Man City

I will try to find where I read it and post a link later.

Where did that come from Zog? You'd think even the dimmest could see there is a difference between having FFP wiggle room and having money to spend!I found this:

Thanks, Zog. At least it shows the Mail is a cut above football's multitude of clickbait web sitesI found that one on a blog 'givemesport', but decided to try and find the source of it just now. The exact diagram is in a number of places and 'hitc' say it originated on the Daily Mail on the 12th November on an article discussing FFP https://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/s...er-League-club-spend-transfers-FFP-rules.html
Very strange if there's anything to the Aarons rumour.Bali Mumba has joined Peterborough in loan until the end of the season. A little suprised by this one to be honest although I think it will do him good to go and get some regular game time

That's a lot of money spent for a 31 year old RB, but worth it if he helps to keep them up. If they are interested in Aarons, it must be for the long term.NUFC
Despite sitting 19th and just a point better off than the rock-bottom Canaries, the Magpies are poised to complete the signing of England full-back Kieran Trippier from Atletico Madrid for a reported £18million.
Finance experts have reported that Newcastle can spend up to £166million this month and remain compliant with Uefa’s Financial Fair Play regulations.![]()
Suggestion I've seen is that Aarons is staying until the summer, and this move is with the hope that Mumba proves himself a viable championship right back so no replacement needs signing.Very strange if there's anything to the Aarons rumour.

I'll take him up therehttps://www.pinkun.com/sport/norwic...odd-cantwell-newcastle-united-enquiry-8603262 ... Yes Cantwell is an excellent player and is worth £40 million![]()
Weird line in there about Cantwell's contract situation:https://www.pinkun.com/sport/norwic...odd-cantwell-newcastle-united-enquiry-8603262 ... Yes Cantwell is an excellent player and is worth £40 million![]()
David Ornstein in The Athletic mentions interest in Cantwell from top Championship clubs, with a "loan and buy-on-promotion clause" an option.Seen a suggestion that Norwich want £10m + £5m add-ons for Cantwell. Presumably a sell-on clause too. That seems relatively fair, unfortunately.
