Even though they play in the same division, Burnley are currently in a different league to Fulham. We have to remember that Pritch performed really well for Brentford last year and they're one of the stronger teams in the Championship. Anywhere less than Burnley, Boro or Hull is a step down for him at this stage of his career. And even they aren't much of a step up from what he's already proven. I would've liked to see him go to Bournemouth or Swansea tbh.

Burnley is a stable football club with a manager who has a good track record. Fulham is a good club with good ethics, but seem to have lost their way over the past 18 months. I'd give Burnley the edge on this one.
 
In terms of loaning out Pritchard he needs to regain form and match fitness, so Burnley being in form and keen to loan him in makes it a much wiser move than loaning him to relegation-threatened Fulham just to grease the wheels for Dembele II.
 
That's an intriguing development and an excellent move for him if true, regardless of Berahino going the other way. As I said above, I don't see much point sending a player who impressed last year at a strong Championship side to another similarly strong championship side. He needs a PL challenge now, albeit I'd have preferred more 'footballing' sides like Swansea or B'mouth over WBA.

PhysioRoom has Njie down to return 2nd week of March, which means we can pretty much forget seeing him until April. No way can he be considered as a viable option up front as our season could well be f*cked long before he returns.

If we get a forward I'll be happy. I hope we can still sign Moussa II. Good player I think, at a bargain price. Given our historical terrible troubles in that regard and our upward trajectory and increased number of games as a result, 3 forwards sounds a minimum number to me.

Surely it must be? However, It wouldn't surprise me if Pearce wants to rub salt into the wound further, based on what we've seen of him so far. Wait for him to take Pritchard, but sell Berahino elsewhere! <laugh> spursy!

Good morning gents. I would like to call to order this, the 5th annual search for the mythical player known only by the name given to him by the ancient Aztecs, 'NEW STRIKER'.

As we all well know, we have scoured the earth far and wide for this legendary hero. Sometimes, we search too hastily and too greedily. Mr Levy, you aren't going to read this. But it's transfer deadline day - so my brain has told me that you will. It is down to you. You can make the signing right now that catapults this glorious club into a future rich with trophies, women and wine.

Pritch completes loan move to WBA. Very pleased that he's going to a PL side rather than dropping down a division.

At the very least, this shows that Levy and Peace are still on speaking terms...

We need a stroking-beard-deep-in-intrigue smiley! Though it still probably means bugger all when it comes to us buying a player who in any way shape or form resembles a striker.
