Jay Bothroyd's loan with the Wendies ends on 2nd Jan, fallen out of favour with them and might be sent back to QPR. They think he's too 'flash' for a relegation battle. Bruce said we made an inquiry at the start of the season but he pinged for them instead....he might prefer us now considering our league position.

I wonder what goals per shots he has over his career but it must be pretty high, natural goalscorer. I remember telling people about him when he was a kid at Scunthorpe. The only place he didn't do it was a Shef Utd, but if my mind doesn't fail me he was played out wide!
Probably a little young but Adam Campbell from Newcastle would be a great loan, remember the name he is going to be the next big thing. He's just about to turn 18 I think a combination of Rooney and Owen

That's a load of BS about Larsson, Christ he's a first team regular! Also, I just cannot see Steve Bruce NOT strengthening the front line. Time and again he has stated that the biggest frustration is seeing El Mohamady and Brady pinging excellent crosses into the danger area only to find nobody getting on the end of things. Bruce will not repeat the mistakes of last season, his reputation is at stake.

I can only see us trying for a loan move the reason been and correct if i am wrong but from next season dosn't this new system come out were you can only spend so much ect and if it is true i cannot see city buying a good striker who will want top wages on a decent contract for a couple of years because we may have to cut our wages if we do not go up

Sharp still seems a bit bitter about the McShane 'handball' at the City Ground. He probably holds a grudge against us now. Morrison would fit the bill for me, a tall, strong target man that can actually give us a potent threat in the air!
