Luke Cundle is expected to be on the move from Wolves during the January transfer window.

Swansea, Oxford, Blackburn, Hull and Bristol
City are mentioned as possibly being interested.

What we need is a full back to keep Mumba away from defending.....he should be further forward.

Mustapha Bundu did the pre-match player interview for the Coventry game. This is published on Argyle TV.

He’s optimistic, feeling recent games have been better performances and is complimentary about Mike Phelan’s part in working with the players on the details of how they’re being asked to play.

FOOTBALL LEAGUE WORLD are suggesting that Michael Cooper is the best keeper in the Championship...keeping a clean sheets week after week.

They also reckon that He was a steal at the price that they gave Argyle for him....and they are suggesting that he is earning £14,000 a week more than he did at .Plymouth.

    Football League World are also suggesting that...Joe Edwards is earning £10,000 a week........Mustapha Bundu is earning £10,000 a week.......Victor Palsson is earning £10,000 a week......Andre Gray is earning £12,500 a week.......Michael Obafemi is earning £15,000 a week.......Adam Forshaw is earning £15,000 a week.......Bali Mumba is earning £15,000 a week.

No mention of Morgan Whittaker's earnings.

Football League World use the word "earning".....some others might suggest another word for "earning" at the way some of these players are "performing" weekly at the moment.

I think “suggesting” is the operative word. Guessing is probably an alternative.

I think this is missing a vital stage in all this.

    https://www.plymouthherald.co.uk/sport/football/wayne-rooney-plymouth-argyle-call-9825619

The squad we'll have after the window will be what we have now, less what we let go and what we bring in. There's a limit on transfer funds of course but also an administrative limit on the number of successful deals that can be done in the time available. It all takes time with negotiations, contracts, fitness tests, maybe international clearance and all the rigmarole. It probably takes as long to shift a player out as it does to bring one in, so even if you are going to have a revolving door sort of process, there's a limit. There can't be a radical re-shaping.

My question is, is the head coach making the best use of what we've got now. It's all very well saying "I want to play with 7 at the back and 3 left wingers", but is that an efficient use of what we've got? It seems that's the first question because getting that right minimises the number of transactions you need to complete.

You know what I'm going to say. Our problem is conceding too many and being unable to face up to the onsluaght you get in away games. The foundations of this squad go back to Ryan Lowe and 3 at the back with wing-backs. Four at the back means we've got excess centre-backs and a dearth of more traditional full backs. That needs to be sorted out first.

50mph winds and heavy rain is forecast for New Year's Day. Another postponement to the other side of the transfer window might be no bad thing........

Maybe an act of God is required.....He has been known to calm the waters and part the sea.....so a little help closing Home Park for a few games (roof off ) so that we can really sort ourselves out with a "strengthened" squad might help the cause at home......and there is talk of snow soon so a few away games back dated will do us no harm either.

Plus three clubs having a diabolical new year....just to help us climb up to at least 21st......is that to much to ask.

I read that in the Erald and thought the same thing. The one big drawback with social media summed up in that one story. It really makes my piss boil.

Today has been like standing around the stage with the chopping block on it and just waiting for the main event. Have to say that I am a bit surprised it hasn't happened yet but I still think it will. Sack or resignation is the only question.

I have been watching the reports on the expected weather for Wednesday. At the minute I have a stinking cold with a right hacky cough to go with it. Given my problems on the breathing front earlier this year I have to be careful I don't do anything stupid. I am sort of hoping it will be cancelled because if it isn't I think I am going to have to give attendance a miss. Can't afford to get soaked and then sit around for several hours in the cold. The only down side to cancellation would be another evening game at some point which also kind of causes me problems.

I’m sorry to hear that Sensible. When there’s a contentious decision or notable incident. I often think “what will Sensible say about that?”. It’s not quite the same if you’re not there so get well soon.

It’ll be on Sky Sports I presume, being an early kick-off. Failing that, there’s the audio commentary on Argyle TV for £2.50.

I can hear it on radio devon for free or I could get a ride to my Club and watch it on their TV for free and have a glass of something at the same time. Now there is a thought. Thanks for the sentiments by the way.

Mark Robins has been appointed Stoke's new manager.

One manager less for Argyle to choose from..............how long will he last at Stoke..........if we wait a few weeks he might be available again
