I'm unclear what Brent might have done about this:

Can't blame anyone for this. Not even the player if truth be told.

Talk of Argyle being one of the clubs interested in Truro's 24 year old striker Jody Cooke.

Diagouraga it seems was offered far more money than Argyle could offer...plus a signing on fee.....all because Fleetwood have a rich benefactor Andrew Pilley.

We shouldn't feel too put out with the Toumi thing. He virtually said he was not staying anyway and there are plenty of clubs out there who haven't got a benefactor to fall back on who wouldn't compete money wise either. Lets be honest the pound rules in every walk of life so why it should be different in football is just wishful thinking. We move on even if we acknowledge the fact we will miss him. He aint here so get on with it. I'm not sure a player like that would be easy to replace however. Right player with right attributes and the right time who fits in to the hole left is not always quite that simple. Plenty of players who can play but gelling and fitting in is another story.

Not sure a non league striker is what we need either. I just hope Adams gets somebody in soon to boost the troops and fans. We always seem to leave stuff to the last minute somehow and have ended up with more than one pig in a poke because of it.

Looks as if Nadir Ciftci could be returning to Scotland and a lone deal at Motherwell.

Now that would be good news if it happens. Not exactly been much of a success here has he. In fact he hasn't been anything at all.

Possibility of Nathan Blissett going out on loan to either of two National League sides.....Macclesfield or Wrexham...with the possibility of being signed full time if either are promoted.

Sonny Bradley seems to be in demand.....clubs such as Bolton, Wigan, Fleetwood, Southend and Doncaster are showing interest in him joining them....this will be a test for PAFC to try and hold on to him or lose him to higher bidders for his services.

The site reporting that are also talking about Argyle wanting to hold onto him for our league 2 push for promotion. Says a lot for the accuracy of their reporting doesn't it.

Cifti shift to Motherwell looks done.

Blissett is still being chased by Macclesfield and Wrexham....but he is at the moment holding out hoping for interest from Div2 teams.

Wigan and Charlton are supposed to be monitoring Graham Carey....it wouldn't be a transfer window without talk of Carey going somewhere.

If Carey were to go then, given Argyle have given him a longer contract than most, they should wack a 7 figure fee on the agenda and nothing less. If they want him then make them pay a proper fee and not the normal Argyle price. You are right though it wouldn't be a window without talk.

Not sure I care about Blissett one way or another. He is never going to figure unless everyone else is injured.
