Yeah didn’t really consider the European element. This will be KWP last big move/contract. He’ll be 28 in the summer so signing a 3/4 year deal obviously takes him into his 30s. I’m sure him and his team know that and are talking with English clubs anyway even if an official contract offer can’t be made.
I’ve wondered too why he hasn’t been picked up by other clubs. He’s a fabulous player, for sure. I wonder, though, if he’s just a little bit short of the pace needed to be a top premier league fb?
