See this is just being defeatist. Although it is extremely extremely unlikely that we will win it there is still a possibility, no matter how remote.

As said in another thread, we all look to each match for a win but that does not mean we should overlook the reality that is the state of our club at the moment. It is this that we question and discuss.

Milan this season are nothing like the slow dweebs Spurs played last season. We have a massive mountain to climb and I can't see us beating them at all.

As for Barcelona ... we'd get an even bigger can of ass whooping from them, we are weaker than last season.

Well for starters the old guard are not playing, they certainly are not starting, they have new blood in Nocerina and Emanuelson and and look largely unrecognisable from the team of 2010.

It all depends on whether we have our full squad available, Wenger adapting the team according to who we face and whether Walcott can be used effectively. One thing that rattles European teams is raw pace and if Walcott is on fire, we can have a possible plan b. But will Wenger be able to utilise Walcott? However, the two Spanish teams are favourite to win and i fear Wenger simply isn't good enough to overcome them....

As long as we are in the champions league there is a chance we will win it. That's just pretty basic maths however you feel about our current team. And you did read the part where I said there is almost no possibility of us winning it right?

But Pato is in poor form, Ibrahimovic is generally useless in the later stages of the champions league, their FB's are weak and their midfield looks soooo functional. Boateng has improved and if Nesta is fit they have an incredible CB partnership but apart from that I am not that afraid of them.

There is a chance I might be able to shag Karen Gillan or Holly Valance - but its so small that I wouldn't feel it necessary to post a thread asking which would be better
