Looks like we could go from having 4 to 2. This would then mean that we would need another 2 IMO. After the club has fined alex I would now like him to leave as he has shown no loyalty to the club. We should then invest the 10m + into the team with the new cb, winger and forward. If we need to I feel that we could offer Jason puncheon another chance in the 1st team. He is a good player with skill shown at loan spells at Blackpool and millwall. Personally I can't see this happening.

What does everyone else think. Do you want him to leave now. Do you think we should keep him.
 
Haha exactly fran as good a puncheon is, he is a child and doesn't fit in with the, 'it's not about the 11' mentality that Adkins likes the players to have!

Yeah think that ig chamberlain does go we will certainly need to reinvest in a right winger with speed to fill the gap and in my opinion you are right, we could use a new cb and a pacey striker!

Maybe the plan is that cork will play rm? We know how versatile he is, he is good going forward?
 
We have lots of people who can play as left wingers! Right would be a bit bare if we lost AOC and JP.

Left: Lallana, Holmes, Dickson, Guly
Right: (AOC), (Puncheon), Guly, Butterfield
 
Lallana can play on the right too.

I heard somewhere that "He plays on the left, he plays on the right..... Oh Adam Lallana, makes Messi look ...."
 
Yeah I think Lallana is capable of playing anywhere across the midfield but without a doubt his best role is on the left, as he is great at cutting in on his right foot. Ideally if Chambo goes we would need someone with pace as I feel we do lack it in the team atm.

Agreed. Can't overstate the importance of pace in these leagues. What about Antonio? Probably relatively cheap and I'm sure he loved his time with us. Makes AOC look sluggish!
 
Chamberlain was at Totton last night with rest of team and NA. Cortese, though expected, cried off...they probably had to put him in an Armani strait-jacket when he started foaming at mouth. I think Alex isn't going anywhere, but not for want of trying. He has to play himself back into the fans' good books, fortunately I'm certain he's an honest lad and will give his best at all times.
 
Forte is also a winger/striker. When Puncheon goes I reckon we may get a loan signing in but at the end of the transfer window. If Chamberlain also goes (don't think he will) I would buy a decent winger.
