Always thought he was a good player. Who the devil do Brighton have that they can allow him to go?
Don't fall into the Carroll trap. He's anything but free. He costs an absolute fortune. Even allowing for the fact you'd be letting a known drinker back into his hometown, the only viable option with the lad is pay as you play. His agent will be finding him a contract which pays regardless, I just hope it ain't here as it would be a massive mistake.
I'd be happy with Joelinton, Welbeck (if we are going for an injury prone striker, give me him instead of Carroll or Austin), Muto, Sorenson. Or keep Gayle and loan out Sorenson. They'd be ok options I think.
