Interesting. So Deano is backing the chairman and thats reason enough for grown men to boo him? Nice argument there fellas.

No doubt from afar and from the safety of their mates being nearby.

Still, I guess it makes a change for them from screaming abuse at the oppo fans, also from a position of safety and with their mates.
Mmmm
It's still not as bad has booing Meyler though IMO
People need a fall guy to fulfill their lives it seems

Firstly, the name change proposal & AA's subsequent refusal to accept the FA's decision along with his attitude that he can do what he likes because he has the money is nothing short of a scandal, if the name isn't broke, then don't fix it.

It's disappointing that he took the decision to change the name without talking to the supporters that it means most to. I'm not happy about it & I'm becoming a little fed up with the issue. I wish it would go away so we can enjoy the season like we should be able to.

I worry that a number of fans who are either against the name change issue & those who are undecided may start to turn against the owner as the name change issue rumbles on.

It will always be Hull City in my eyes & that's what we all sing in the stands.I don't agree with it but you're never going to change his mind.

It won't bring in any extra money or supporters but what else can we do or say?

Is this you, or are you quoting someone else and forgot to include the tags?

I've not really got an issue with the booing. If you go on TV and say things that you know are going to piss off a significant number of people then regardless of the history you've got you can't then have a problem with them giving you a hostile reception when you get presented to them at the ground a few days later. If someone in your family was good as a kid but starts acting like a **** you don't let them off it because of what they used to be like, you let them know you think they're in the wrong. Pretty much everyone is agreed that he's one of us, that's part of why he's held so highly in the first place, the booing is just the rest letting him know they're not happy with how he's acting in what is a private setting (taking the extension of City fans as a family the stadium is like a house, the away fans are just the guest feeling uncomfortable at being present during a family tiff)

The crap on twitter isn't on though. It's no better than going running down the street after him to give him a hard time, only without having the bottle to actually do it to his face where if you start calling him allsorts you're liable to get a smack for it. And you're doing it in public, so for the family thing I was using above, you're taking your argument out onto the street for all the neighbours to see you airing your dirty laundry.

Fook ya. You know I was talking about how gobshites feel empowered at a distance and with their mates. Get them on their own and they'd be as quiet as a sheep.

Btw, I'm pissed off I didnt think of the brilliant "so will you be standing in front of the tv for 90 mins on Sunday" line :(

Yeah, Dec's over, and fab it was too, looking forwards to 40 mins on the train to the emirates on Sunday. Unless they cancel the trains. Fooking hell, I hadnt considered that. I could drive still. Jesus. Now I'm gonna be a bag of nerves waiting to see if the trains are running.

Hopefully you'll get better this year and can start leading a normal life again, is that a possibility?

Wonder if Mr Hat will be telling his kids to,sit down and shut up and switching off 10 minutes before the end?

Can say what he wants. Will always be a city legend. Booing a legend is discusting and just proves what the no to hull tigers lot are. Bullies.
I think the people against the name change get frustrated that people will support something that has no justification at all on one persons say so, and express that frustration against people who think that somehow there is some logic to whats going on.

It's because he is a part of the family that his betrayal is so very poor; he's taken the Judas Silver and he should hang his head very low - the boos are part of his relationship with us, the supporters, as he feeds of the cheers, so boos are nothing more than the opposite expression of how we feel (some of us, to qualify that). Twitter is what it is, I'm not interested, he can switch it off, folk are accountable if it goes too far. He has gone too far.

Are you an American?

I get what you mean, but I had to read it three times.
