On Sky, talking about win% for the Chelsea manager (about 50%). Thought I'd look at NA's figures for Saints. The figures are 60.8% last year and 54.5% in league so far this season. Have to say that I think that figure will rise by the end of the season as I'm sure the team will step up for the run in.

If we are to get promoted then that win percentage will have to go up and i suspect it will. We have a big strong squad full of quality and options and we are bang on form again, we have momentum and hopefully that won't stop until the end of the season now. As a little blue fish once said 'just keep winning, just keep winning'

54.5% doesn't look that great and yet we are top of the league.

Points per game is more appropriate as a win % does not include some solid points picked up by draws.

MAN CITY 2.42
MAN U 2.35
CHARLTON 2.25
SPURS 2.04
SHEFF UNITED 2.0
WEST HAM 1.91
SAINTS 1.88

POMPEY 1.13

Across the 4 leagues, only 6 teams have picked up a better average. 2 being from lower divisions, 3 of them being the top prem teams and then West Ham

I think we need to pick up the average slightly, but if we continue at 1.88 for 13 games, we will pick up another 24 points from a possible 39, leaving us on a total of 86.

Would this be enough???? I think YES

COYRs!!!!

A likely title win on a points per game average of 1.9 shows how competitive this league is compared to the premier league, the manchester clubs are just running away with it.

Even if we're promoted, I'll still think the championship is the most exciting league!

54.5% would give us 21 points, plus any draws from other 6 games, let's say 3, giving 24 points and a totL of 86 for the season.

Would that be enough?

Not if Reading keep up their current form. That said all teams have these runs usually followed by a blip, Bham and Boro recently so fingers crossed it happens to Reading!

I wonder what our win % was at this stage last season.
It felt like we couldn't not win towards the end of last season.

My thoughts exactly, we were sublime towards the end of last season, let's hope for the same this time around! <ok>
