Absolutely destroyed him didn't he, getting better every game. Great chance to win the thing with Alcaraz and Djokovic out, still plenty of top players like Sinner of course but Draper is well capable of beating them.
She would of got the third one off her swede, never took s hit like that from anyone, no matter what my age was.
Breezed through that last set, very promising. Every time he came under pressure he stood up to it which is the sign of a winner.
Why are the women in the doubles covering their mouths when discussing tactics, do they honestly think the opposition have lip readers in the crowd who are champing at the bit to relay everything they may or may not have said to their opponents team? It's a bit silly.
First set to Sinner, close though. Commentators reckon Draper's hands are so sweaty he can't grip the racket properly especially on serve, they might have a point they are having to dry his side of the court with a towel.
Draper's having a tough time of it out there, he's sweated his own body weight, vomited on court a couple of times and he's still playing well. Lad's got grit. He needs to figure out some way to handle playing in hot humid conditions for the future because I think he'd be winning if he was handling the conditions well.
Sinner wins in straight sets but that's not even close to telling the full story. If you swapped the physical condition of the two players and Sinner was the one puking and dying of exhaustion then Draper wins. Only a year age difference between them but Draper's had almost two full years out injured recently while Sinner was cracking on with his career. Very impressed with the stones on Jack and he'll definitely go on to win majors.
Yeah but look at Sinner - he hardly has any muscle on him but certainly has good technique. Jack Draper looks like he could even out do the achievements of Andy Murray
