    Yes, Federer reigns supreme.

    GAME, SET AND MATCH - Murray 6-4 5-7 3-6 4-6 Federer

Splendid support as the two men walk out for the denouement - shouts of "MURRAY! MURRAY!", deafening clapping. First point - Murray opening up the guns, blasting a forehand... in! He'll toss up a lob now - is that dropping in? It isn't, you know, and Fed will ace again for two championship points. First serve goes wide. Murray attacking the second - saved! Here's the second - Murray will flay - it's wide, it's wide...

Quite a few got it right as Federer to win in 4 sets - but Coyler called it spot on, with Murray taking the first. Which Lotto numbers you going for next week Coyler?

I think Murray choked today and that's why he was so upset, and as much as I wanted him to, it was pretty horrific watching that interview. I was thinking "Sue, just **** off and leave him alone... He obviously needs to shed some man tears"... Massive credit to him for winning the first set and getting so far. If he can't up his game to Federer's he doesn't deserve to win Wimbledon in the future (even with Roger gone), so he has to take it as a positive and really get the hammer down. Him and Djok used to be very close before Djok took off, Murray must do the same or risk wasting the talent.

Hard not to feel for the lad, and I do hope he wins at least 1 slam before his career ends

Was always the set he was most likely to win as he was likely to have the momentum from the home crowd early on.

Let's hope you keep the predictions correct then, if so what trophy personally could see us possibly winning the Europa League.

Id love it to be the Europa League, but to be honest id be happy with any trophy. We haven't had much luck in recent times in cup comps and choked on the odd occasion, Stevenage and Brighton for example. So it has to change sometime and im backing it to be next year

Got a feeling you are right but think our best chance is probably the Europa League. In Pardew I trust.

Wasn't that fussed about him today, I'd rather he'd won, but after that show of emotion, I hope he wins next year.

There is no reward for being a complete pussy. This is why he doesn't win, this sort of mental weakness, the big fairy.

Seriously even I felt very sorry for him. I rarely finds these sort of things emotional but it was horrible. There is something really awkward about watching a grown mans voice break up with emotion. The missus was in floods. The little one was as tactful as ever "mam what you crying for, stop being silly"

The little ones are funny though. She simply switched her allegience to Federer once he got his nose in front.

    Little one "What's he called?"
    Me "Federer"
    Little one "Come on Federer!!!"

    Proper glory hunter.

I have just been on the dark sides board on a thread I commented on about Anelka. I've gone back to read them accusing you, ACS and Tash of being online child abusers! (Billy getting a wee bit carried away again) Now I can see why they are accusing Tash, he made a pretty abrupt comment about a post Niall34 made. Now what have you 2 done to this 10 yr old you bad men?

I honestly just laugh reading this forum for the crack sometimes. The threats and comments some people make are ridiculous.

Just read back the comments and had to refrain from telling Bill a few home truths, those comments about the three of them are out of order.

I did think that but then you sometimes do more harm by letting him think they are worthy of a response and therefore have some credence.
