So SA all out for 119 in their 2nd innings!!!! From the BBC report on the TDF - "Porte was travelling at 72km/h when he got his line wrong and skidded across the inside of a left-hand bend before bouncing into the path of Dan Martin and bringing down the Irish rider." In foreign money that's just under 50mph!!!
Murray and Konta both struggling about very sharpe looking opponents. They will both do well to fight their way through!
Murray looks intimidated and on the back foot. Never seen Paire before, be he's the aggressor, and is pulling off every kind of shot. 4-2 Paire
Murray, from nowhere, has his Mojo back!! 2 perfect games in a row, turns everything around. Paire now looks to be losing a bit of his confidence.
Paire seems to be fighting back with anger power. Both players pulling off class shots and winner. First set could be crucial. If Murray can win this, Paire's confidence might wobble again. Both players have been shouting at themselves at different times. Confidence seems on a knife edge for both.
Fantastic effort from Konta. Garcia looked very, very good from what I saw. Her first ever Wimbledon QF awaits!
Wow! Murray! On his service game to take the second set, he was so close to losing that! Real grit and class to see that game and set out. 2-0 Murray.
To win that in straight sets was impressive. Both Top Brits through to the QF after wins after tricky looking opposition. Fantastic stuff!
This match is epic!! Muller is so solid and such a good serve! Nadal has been hanging on, but pulling out world class last gasp winners.
shame there as to be a loser, both playing outstanding tennis. That's if they finish, I expect to wake up tomorrow morning and they will still be playing.
I wanted to stick something else on while the gf is in the shower, as I've watched a lot of tennis this afternoon/evening. But I can't turn this off. It's intense!
I think, throughout this game. Muller has been the more consistent. The more impressive, the more aggressive. If he wins it will be "a shock" but this has been such a class and professional performance, and I think he has really targeted Nadals weaknesses.
The fight, the passion, the hard work, the power of Nadal, keeps him in this throughout. Just when you think it's over, he pulls out pure genius. There is only so many times you can keep putting all your energy into saving a point though. It feels like Muller thinks it's only a matter of time, he just needs to keep the tempo and consistency.
