And I am not even a massive fan of Wilshere these days, because for me his development has stalled and granted he has had load of injuries but his game has not developed and he continues to do stupid things off pitch, and as I have said above, there is no way he should be getting into this current team, but I guess some people always need to find a scapegoat because that way it's easier to understand why we were bad and you can abuse that one player for it on twitter or wherever.

Your comment your Reverence reminds me of the old adage "People in general, and footballers in particular mature at different rates."

I've already made a thread on this but your win ratio with wilshit in the side pails compare to when he is out of the side. Coincidence? i think not. In a crucial position of the field when arsenal plays, Wilshit just tries too much, dribbling past players, a pass just before the tackle, and generally being a light weight, he loses the ball a lot and he just doesn't do enough.

I still have a lot of faith in Wilshere. He has a very bright future. To me he cleaaaarly has 'World Class' ability.

Wenger would be insane to let him go (which he won't) To quote Le Boss:

"Jack has the personality to be a top, top, top player. He has gone through a difficult period," the Arsenal boss continued.

"The problem in the modern game, you need to be absolutely 100% physically (fit) to express your talent, or you don't.

"At the moment Jack is not completely at his best physically, that is why people start to question his performances, but I think he is an incredible footballer and he will show that. He (just) needs consistency now."

Its funny I feel I'm constantly on here defending our players. Ramsey, Mertesacker, Ozil, Walcott and now Wilshere.

I've faith in Jack so long as he can overcome his injuries. As was mentioned earlier the vast majority of the squad was poor at the start of the season, not just him, so it seem grossly unfair to think he too can't improve. What's more, right before his injury I thought he was one of the few bright points in some pretty grim performances. It baffles me how people can forgive Ramsey's poor games post injuries but not Jack.

Anyway, why aren't we talking about Diaby getting back into the team? Surely that's the bigger issue!

I always thought Diaby was a mythical figure. Like King Arthur, Robin Hood or Beowulf.

They might as well just hand us the league title now.

No man can stand against the mystical powers of a Diaby!

Last time I remember him playing he bent Liverpool over and rodgered them soundly for 90 minutes. If, in the event we both make the final, he could do the same I would offer him a 20 year deal and not care if he never managed to play again!

I heard he was 11 feet tall and can run the 100m metres in 3.4 sec.
They might as well offer him a 200 year deal seeing as Diaby is an Immortal.

That's what they'll be offering Diaby in the summer...

    On the subject of Debuchy.

As good as the Frenchman is.. Bellerin is in fine form and it would be harsh to drop him seeing as his performances have been first class lately.
Bellerin could develop into one of the Worlds best fullbacks if he keeps progressing but to do that he needs games.

To be fair, Debuchy was excellent too before he got injured, and he also has the more experience, so I would bring Debuchy back in immediately if he is fit. Bellerin is young, and has already got a lot of games, we are now into the business end of the season, so we need all the experience we can get in the side.
