We're really not in a position to say. Wouldn't surprise me at all if Charnley offered something pathetic in the first place, given what our wage bill seems to be like (from the accounts) we're overpaying many wasters so it's not going to be a surprise if Willock points at them and argues he should have parity or more and yet we view him more as a player to develop and are offering him less than the likes of Shelvey.
I'm fairly confident this is going through. For what it's worth the Friday lunchtime deadline is irrelevant, he isn't playing this weekend anyway. Needs more time to get fit and settled in with us before playing i reckon.

His agent will be negotiating with Charnley. What Willock needs to do is get on with training at Arsenal and wait to see what unfolds. I can see a lot of assumptions being made and words being put in mouths but no actual information.
Seriously though if it's down to wages then it's a **** up, I'd say he more or less saved us from relegation and we should pay him what he wants.
I don't know. Remember Kenedy? Stormed season 1 then was ****ter than Joelinton the second season.
