Depends how you use him. Arsenal have tended to use him a lot further forward than we did but I have seen him central and deeper too. I'd agree about where you pitch him, to me he is not Maddison class on known evidence but the PL doesn't really work like that. Largely cause of agents. In the PL he is now a ****ing top class player. Reality is the likes of Leicester and Villa would just see him as a good addition to their squad. However goals from midfield are at an absolute premium at present, particularly if you are English. I'm assuming that the likes of Villa and Leicester would use the massive funds they received from Man C or Arsenal to buy more than just one replacement, looking to improve the overall squad. Leicester is the obvious one if they wanted a makeweight. I mean they thought Ayoze Perez was worth 30m so who knows what they're capable of.
The news today suggests he is likely to be coming here and Artetas comments suggest he is willing to deal. So the hold up must be Willock, which if that's the case its because he thinks he has better options than Newcastle. To be that's a good portion of the league mind.
