I’m happy for willock that his Newcastle spell has worked out. I would use this moment in the summer to rinse Newcastle (or anyone) for as high a fee as we can get.

I believe this is willock’s high point in terms of value and we should take full advantage, otherwise we’ll get into another AMN situation where his value collapses.

But should we sell if we do not get even 20m?
 
Where are the bids?

We should have taken 20m from PSG for bellerin last season,20m for niles from what was it wolves..big loss by us.
 
My issue with Willock is he's not really a ball player. He's great a making runs into the box and has an excellent shot on him but.. can he play the way Arteta want him to? Can he fit into a side that plays touch and move/Guardiola type football?

Would have liked to see him stay and develop at Arsenal. That said, £25m is a decent fee if we invest that in a Maddison or Silva.

That's a big IF. But I fully expect us to push hard for Maddison/Bernardo now. Otherwise there was no point in selling Joe.

Yeah I think it's a real coup for you guys, especially with that goalscoring run he went on in the second half of the season.

We're going to look like mugs if he repeats that feat again <laugh>

Brighton apparently in for Nketiah for £20m too.

Makes that £60m fee for Maddison more achievable if we only need to lay out £15m net.

Personally I don't see Lesta selling him. I think we'll push for Silva if he leaves or go back in for Hossem Aouar

With willock Saint Maximin almiron and Wilson fit and on the pitch we've got a real threat... All are rapid too

Our 11 is good, but we have no depth

Whether it's Aouar, Bernardo, Maddison or Sabitzer, I'm not fussed. We need a good attack minded midfielder in our team. That money needs to be reinvested as soon as possible.

Good luck to Willock he seems like a nice lad.

In terms of brining in players.. I like Maddison dont get me wrong but 60-70m seems crazy.

Sabitzer has been avilable for £15-20m.
Lyon want £20-30m for Aouar
Odengaard what £30-40m?

On top of that Tolisso is available with less than a year left on his contract, rumours are for £10-20m

You cant tell me Aouar and Tolisso wouldnt be better business than spending this huge wedge on Madders.
