Will take it easy with him, maybe last 20mins, and then hopefully be match fit for Norwich, which will be a game to confirm if we are top spot contenders or not! Some tricky looking games coming up however anything goes in the championship!

Excellent news but don’t expect too much. I guess that he will be eased in gently.

Envisage he will be on the bench and may make an appearance late in the 2nd half as a sub.

If that goes well, then he may be in the starting line up for the WBA match.

I agree with several posters here. If in doubt leave him out. At least one more game? Better to get him as strong as possible, considering past hammy problems, for a run against Burnley and Preston when we lose a few to WC22. Anyway, I'm sure our medical staff have got far greater knowledge than I, so I'll trust them implicitly.

World Cup is due to finish on 18th December. We play Burnley at home on the 11th, I very much doubt that any of our players would still be involved in the last week or so. I can't see either Morocco or Senegal being involved then, and Dieng and Chair don't start for their countries anyway when they have everyone fit.

Mendy is injured for Cheksea, Dieng might start
