How do you know, we've never seen him play left back. I am doubting you even watch the games to be honest. I think you just read the reports and make it up. He plays left wing back for us by the way
He would be better than Dummett at that I would imagine, although I think 100 times better is stretching it a lot. Such a negative approach to do down a good player as a way of making a point about another player. Very negative.
This doesn't even make sense. My comment related to when the ball is loose or he needs to close someone down i.e. we are not in possession. We don't gain possession because he is indecisive. Clearly HDQ has picked up the same thing I have.
I have no problem with his calmness on the ball, its a great asset and led to M Longstaffs goal.

well I doubt dummet gets caps at lb for Holland mate and I watch lots of games and I have my opinion from seeing both play left back and yes Willems plays left wing back that is how we play and doesn't change th fact we have players living off making desperate tackles that can do nothing else in our squad. let's make it more simple for … we need to sign him up.

all he knows hw t do is defend and he does that very well , but 10 times out of 10 he hoofs it when hes on the ball and the next wave comes back , he tackles and everyone except me forgets it's like watching the water cycle in the form of football
considering Dummet is Welsh I doubt he would get caps for Holland as well

Lazy analysis as usual. Dummett like the others looks to play short passes and football when the team is playing well and full of confidence. Like most players when the team struggles a little his passing gets longer - particularly true of defenders. I noticed this with Lejeune but came to the conclusion he's a guy who wants to play football, but is playing in a team and set up that doesn't really have the confidence to. Typical of you really. A local lad plays well and you look to pick fault. Willems does well and you want to gargle his spunk. Someone gives a fair analysis of Willems, and its negative. Someone gives a fair analysis of Dummett and you think ts over egged. You wouldn't know a good left sided player if they came up and kicked you in the face. We have Willems and Ritchie. Dummett provides adequate cover in desperate times when he is not excelling at centre back. Not many have three different first class options at left back/left wing back. His best position is as a LEFT SIDED centre back.
Get on board the Dummett love train or go support Rafa at Everton. They are your only choices.
