Maybe if you perceive a hardcore smallgroup who skew the argument for the sake of it time after time, you might consider that they have little or no serious contribution to make and are just intent on provoking the majority for their own amusement. And act accordingly.
Ownership while the Allam's are in charge is not realistic, but I don't think the same is true of influence. They obviously won't be told what to do, but I do believe they've realised that engaging with fans is more productive than fighting them.
In five years Hull City may not be the club it is now, I do not think we have peaked yet. I agree with you Obi, it is indeed exciting times to be a Hull City fans and I believe that the best is yet to come. There will be dialogue and there will be progress, if nothing else the government may require all that clubs engage formally with fans and have at least one supporter on the board.
Is that how you see it, the campaign being the barrier between club and fans? If it is then there is no hope of conciliation. The barrier is the manipulation and deceit employed by Assem Allam to impose a hugely unpopular name-change upon our team. The campaign would not exist but for that one fact. I suggest some of you conciliatory campaigners have a check on your values and facts. Any fan-base allowed to be seen as working with the club will be nothing more than glove puppets for a very dominant and dishonest businessman.

It won't be a supporters trust in the true sense of what it represents; it will be a sham and will only serve to lose the essence of CTWD which still has value and purpose.
The context was whether Assem Allam would talk to CTWD. If he doesn't talk to us and insists the club doesn't talk to us then that is a barrier between the fans and the club. Its nothing to do with conciliation, all to do with the attitude of one man. Whether CTWD becomes glove puppets I doubt, possible yes, but unlikely. At the minute we have a group of meetings with the club. The people attending are not accountable to the broader fan base for what they do or say, nor are they necessarily representative. If the club is serious about setting up fan consultation it will ensure that the fans' group includes representatives from the OSC, CTWD, Ulltras, other groups that may exist and spaces for non-aligned supporters. Those groups would then arrange open meetings for all supporters to attend if they wish and listen to a report of the last meeting and make proposals for the next. Nothing to stop the groups doing something similar for their members. We cannot control what the club do but we can arrange for a more united, professional approach to who represents the supporters at these meetings. I see Omega Man's suggestion of a Federation as a step towards that. A representative body of the OSC and CTWD would make any manipulation by the club more difficult.
You don't want to discuss your accusations properly. You want to make generalised accusations of bullying & threats against a specific group of people but refuse to offer evidence. What are & who made the bully boy propaganda throat ramming "agree with us or **** off" threats you speak of? As I can see, there's only you using those "discuss or **** off" tactics. But that doesn't surprise me as it's a normal everyday occurrence for many. Make accusations, stir ****, offer no evidence to substantiate the accusations, abuse, turn focus of accusation onto CTWD, abuse some more, make up stuff about unnamed CTWD founder members, say the evidence is "there" for all to see, abuse a little more, accuse CTWD members of been thugs & ****ers, complain about being abused, refuse to say where "there is, report that they'll be back tomorrow with evidence, disappear, make accusations, stir ****, offer no evidence to substantiate the accusations ........... It's been the same old daily **** for nearly a year now. EDIT: "started by a reactive Premier League whore ****" couldn't be a more accurate description.

Could we please create a new Not606 forum for Hull Tigers, and then those who support that abhorrent name can discuss it amongst themselves there, thus leaving this forum for Hull City supporters. It's an easy solution. Then threads like this would be a lot more readable because they wouldn't be polluted by pro name change rubbish.
