Was Giroud being punished for his **** form? I don't care how bad he's been lately, he needs to start in the final
Wenger said he was tired. And Sanogo looked decent anyways. Giroud's introduction helped our attack anyways so I guess him on the bench worked out in the end.
In the first half of the Wigan game there were several comments on the match thread about how well Sanogo was playing... By the end of the game people didn't seem happy with him. He's young and so I expect him to be a bit inconsistent to start with.
He's a very raw talent, trouble is that a lot is being asked of him because of our lack of strike options. Not the lad's fault, he should really be given a season or two to settle in and find his form.
