Go and sit in all three Shiny and you will soon see which ground has the best view and the best atmosphere. Oh! and just put to one side that you are an English football fan.
Millenium all day long, the whole atmosphere of the city centre. We normally just go to Cardiff for the atmosphere if we can get tickets bonus but Cardiff is the best for international rugby day. As Sapphire says Shiny take the fact away your a England fan. But as followers of Rugby will tell you, you sit next to each other have a really great banter. But "land of my fathers" "bread of heaven" and "swing low" raise the hairs on my body all the time. Love international rugby. And yes I blab on about it and then missed it yesterday, but if you have never been to a game you really ought to just try it once
ROD. Certainly give you the atmos in Cardiff around the ground. Twickers is buried in a residential area, so CF tops for the pubs and shops and intermingling of all fans. Also agree the anthems and hyms are hair raising emotional. Again I think the Welsh have the best one. When Don Revie was England manager he tried to persuade the powers that be and the fans to adopt Land of Hope and Glory, but nothing came of it. At the GB games it was illegal to take your beer into the seated areas which was, I thought, a bit strange. I also like the the good natured banter between fans at International rugby. Similarly when Rovers played Donnie, all the fans mixed together outside the ground in the bars etc. and the atmosphere was very good natured.
Watching today's game, think we could be on for the wooden spoon this year. The French are going to want to put that one to bed and fire themselves up against us. This could be your year this time. Still trying to get tickets my wife works with Rob Jones the ex Welsh and Lions scrum half so fingers crossed as he got me them last time. And he likes me because I told him he was a legend
Well he will be in Welsh folklore. Good Luck with the ticket. My son used to have a season ticket for Wasps, not sure if he still does. Gives him access to international tickets. They should put another tier on the Millenium. Its always difficult to get in.
I love the Millenium Stadium - great atmosphere in and around the ground during rugby internationals. I've been there to watch Rovers in the final of the Johnson's Paint Trophy and even Japan v South Korea for the Bronze Medal at last year's Olympics. Each time there's been a fantastic vibe both inside and outside the stadium. It's one of my favourite places to watch sport.
Get over there for a Wales v England international the pubs are just buzzing no trouble just a great day out
