Always remain humble. Our target pre-season was to avoid relegation and we will achieve that. All the signs are good, solid defence with clean sheets regularly, good goal difference. So far not losing to anyone in the bottom half. The next month will decide if our targets can shift even higher, you never know....
Looking at the table and our form so far..... we are grinding out the results against the lesser clubs. I would think given the Xmas fixtures will be a reality check....... 12th- 14th at season end ?
I agree the Xmas fixture list looks daunting, and we have lost to Man clubs, Leicester, Arsenal, Palarse , but we are becoming more effective every game - something I didn't really expect. If we can garner 4-5 points obver Xmas, then I think top 10 is realistic - certainly far away from 17th !
We now have as many points as we have ever got in a full Premiership season - after just 17 games !!!
This team is about 5 times better of course and in all fairness we've had good fortune with injuries..remember we lost the likes of Mooney and King early in the season. Be like us losing Ighalo or Deeney (and of course they are much better players)
Hopefully we can muster better than 17th now. I must admit, we have had some start to the season and mustn´t get to big for our boots just yet either.
