You never kno, he could be doing a Hughton 'Arfa who??' 'never heard of the lad', next day 'oww you mean Arfaaaa' ;)

but to be honest I wouldn't mind if we didnt sign anyone although I am a little angry that Routledge was loaned out, scorred a cracker against Coventry, just a shame he couldnt do that for us in the prem :(
 
The players returning from injury will be like new signings but now Carroll's crocked I can imagine Keane on loan with Xisco heading to Boro til the end of the season.

Larsson didn't end up moving to Villa, though Birmingham seem keen to hold onto him til the end of the season I'd like to see us make an arrangement to take him on in the summer, he'd be an excellent squad player! <ok>
 
Don't forget, we have Ashley's best mate as manager now. He might be able to attract a little more out of Mike this year.
 
I would rather see us remove some players tbh. Smith and Xisco anyone?!
 
The problem with those two is wages, aren't they both on about £50kpw?

Ideally Smith would go to Leeds and Xisco to Boro (loan with option to buy) but they'd need to take serious wagecuts.
