'Perhaps you should have a word with their 'keeper!' He took a knock in training this week and is now very doubtful, also got injured against Brentford.
I had a long chat with Steve Phillips one Saturday night in Bristol (he was at Rovers by then) - he seemed a really good bloke Bcak to the thread question - I want Sheff U and Donny to go up - both have money Want Yeovil and Bournemouth to stay down as they are the closest league clubs to where I live
My son was having a night out in some city night club a few years back with some mates, there was a bit of an altercation in the bar area and being an ardent City fan he recognised Steve Philips in the middle of it, surprisingly enough Steve was having words with some loud mouthed Rovers fans (we all have fans like these), my son and his crowd went over and helped out.. Steve was a right gentleman, sorted out the problem with no further commotion, thanked all the lads and spent a further time at the bar with my boy talking football and the good times before he left Bristol City. A great character who spent time and left my son with some great memories..
I think Gary will want to be in championship next season he will be aiming to win all his last games..they have the momentum
HE PLAYS JUNIOR WHO COULD GO DOWN! ..............SO MAY HAVE SETTLED FOR A DRAW.......my dear Watson!
I wouldnt fancy being there for a family sunday dinner if one relegates the other, or promotion hopes are dashed!
Would be quite funny, Mrs Johnson wont have an easy time. I want Yeovil to stay down just so we can see GJ again and want Oldham to stay up for the same reason plus that's 12 points as well
I remember some good games with Oldham back in the day. Yeovil games are boring but GJ will get a fantastic reception from me.
we will never know if things may have been different after 12 games Yeovil were 8 points off playoffs Bournemouth were 21st............ Yeovil have GJ and Bournemouth have Pitman!
