I think we finally have a decent “Manager “ not coach ! And given the reins he’s going to do very well for us , players that were being mentioned to go out on loan by disgruntled fans are now playing key roles in the squad - this is all down to Sir Nathan Let’s enjoy the ride

 

There's no doubt about it, he's in charge now. He's dropped Alfie, Dobbo, Ladapo coped with the loss of L Jones, brought in 2 youth players and been rewarded by them. He's changed the atmosphere at The Valley and brought everyone together. Scott can F*** off now, he superfluous. I got funny looks when I said Anderson would be better than Aribo, but under Jones he's progressing so quickly that it's hardly even a fair comparison. Kanu likewise. The sense of relief that NJ has arrested our slide into oblivion is enormous, and I opened a bottle of Glenfiddich last night

 

Exeter, Cambridge, Burton and Shrewsbury were in danger of pulling away from us, that has not happened.

Things are looking a lot more promising in staying up, particularly if we can beat the teams around us starting on Tuesday.

 

We badly need Alfie to get his goal-scoring form back.
