I know. Ashley said it wasn't his fault, but keeping the guy whose fault it is (Charnley) at the club doesn't help.

Charnley might well be the most useless tosser to ever eat a biscuit... But he is working under the direction of one Michael WobbleBucket Ashley, and so have the last few ****shafts he's employed in the exact same position (who have similarly done the squareroot of **** all). They are ****s, the lot of them, and I do not understand for one second why people pick Charnley out of this epic ****fest to vent their spleen at, as oppose to the other little tinkers. I simply refer to them as, "The ****hora"... The plethora of ****s willing to let the club rot.

King of the ****hora is Ashley though, make no mistake, he's the one in charge.

Dick just turned us down. Could we be competing for the same head coaches? Hope so, that would mean we're not considering big sam <laugh>

I sincerely hope we're competing, because at the moment we're unchallenged in appointing Charver (our shortlist of one) and we desperately need any reason for it not to happen (you'd pay more, for starters).

There's a very strong chance we will be competing for the same names, and it's bad news for us. Unless Ashley really has changed his ways then that should be a worry to all of us toon fans. I hate saying it, but if they have more control at Sunderland then that is probably the more attractive option at the minute.

Carver couldn't even make the shortlist for best of show Swine category at the Great Yorkshire Show. He's only on yours out of respect. No way in hell would Ashley give him the job. 4.7 billion people can't see your roof adverting in the Championship.

Bri, if Dick has turned you down it can only be due to lack of transfer funds.

    Are you worried?

Depends if Short is prepared to spend. You out spent us last summer remember. We've need huge investment for season's and haven't got it. Both squads are **** and have attendances which make it a big job. The team with the package containing a nice wage and transfer funds will have the edge. Our facilities could help too.

<confused> Really? that's just you personal speculation though. The fact that he was due to retire and had promised his wife and the fact we'd only offered him the option of a two or three year contract is much more likely to be the biggest contribution to him turning us down.

The wise speculation would be that it's down to his missus and if he'd been offered a one year contract he could have twisted his arm. Very possible we didn't offer him enough spends though as you said, but the facts point to it not being able to convince the Missus, an obstacle we knew could be a problem.

Maybe our nearest and dearest down the road are gonna jump on our dilly dallying and failure to announce Carver as our choice for next season prior to him going on holiday and they're gonna swoop for him.

He is the best coach in the league remember.

Don't say things like that. If Ashley hears that other clubs might be interested in Carver he will sign him up to a long term contract just to ensure he gets a fee for releasing him to them. It's a risk we cant take.

Another day, another utter blank. Sure enough the rage will dissipate, be replaced by apathy and this fcking shower will keep rolling on.

More or less available coaches include (fantasy or not): Klopp, Garde, Ketsbaia, Bilic, Laudrup, Di Matteo, Moyes, McLaren, Jokanovic, Rijkaard, Gourvennec, Warburton, Bielsa.

NUFC Coach 2015? Some random, impossibly grateful no-mark granted a five year deal with the rest of the shower. Probably Carver himself.

Notice John Sheridan left Plymouth. That's about our level.

Its either going to be Carver or someone wide off the mark who we will either totally love or completly and utterly despise.

Rumour has it that McClaren will be interviewed this week-end. Hope he blows it along with Charver. Just get those 2 out of the frame.
