rarely watch it, Clarkson is just an arrogant, obnoxious dick-head, more in love with himself than Lady gaga, Hammond can't drive properly, May is the only one that ever says anything worth listening to. prefer 5th gear myself, at least Plato, VBH and the Tiff know what they're talking about
 
you know when Vettel does his lap. If its bad then people will make comparisons to whether he is a good F1 driver
 
Well he should get top. Unless it rains.
Barrichello who isnt the best driver ever is top now while the "top" guys got rain (even though one of them cut the corner) so anything that isnt sub 44s should be bad.
 
They film on a Wednesday right?

Weather is not too bad today, so I think he has a good chance of setting the fastest lap time, although it might depend on how much he cuts the corners. I know a KIA and an F1 car are completely different machines, but Vettel's "style" is quite smooth and he doesn't throw the car into the corners like Lewis Hamilton would.

Won't he do it in the old car like the other F1 drivers did?

Wednesday or Thursday I am not sure, but it is next week not this week he is on. I think Vettel will set the fastest lap simply because he is much better than Barrichello, and Button, Hamilton and Webber did it in bad conditions. I hope if Vettel does go top he gives Barrichello a t-shirt with "I didn't beat Vettel" on it.

That's the way to do it, but I've never seen what happens when both threads have a poll. Does the mod get to choose which poll is used or does the older one take precedence?

I dont know. We get to choose which thread merges to which so I guess the base threads poll will take precedence but I just dont know <laugh>.

Sebastian Vettel is appearing on Top Gear (Sunday 9th July) in the star in a reasonably priced car, how well do you think he will do?

At the moment the forecast is for 55% chance of rain and 19oc average temperature.

Currently this is the leaderboard:

1. 1:44.3 – Rubens Barrichello
2. 1:44.4 – The Stig (II – Ben Collins)
3. 1:44.6 – Nigel Mansell
4. 1:44.7 – Lewis Hamilton (wet & oily)
5. 1:44.7 – Jenson Button (very hot)
6. 1:44.9 – Jenson Button (falling snow)
7. 1:46.0 – The Stig (I – Perry McCarthy)
8. 1:46.3 – Damon Hill
9. 1:47.1 – Mark Webber (very wet)
10. DNF – Michael Schumacher
