You were as disgusting as you always are, with the full backing of the FA. It was hilarious to watch you all crying when Ronaldo was similarly tapped up by Real and you found the shoe on the other foot, though.
Sadly thats the way of the food chain. Were above you and Madrid ( some how ) are above everyone. A similar thing will of course happen with Bale IF the United interest be genuine.
No, that's not the way of the food chain, that's the way of clubs whose interests are protected by the media and the governing bodies. Thankfully you've no longer got the finances or manager to pull a stunt like that any more, so it's not an issue. Pretty funny to see you still hailing the tappee in your sig, though.
Of course I have. I'm sure everyone that doesn't buy into your vision of your wonderful clubs is too, though.
Yes, it's all paranoia and complete lunacy. Apart from, you know, that bit which you've admitted to already earlier in this thread.
Bet its not the first time you've said that. No offence lads but United are a level above you at least. Im not convinced we are in for Bale but if we were, only Real Madrid would stand in our way. Im pretty sure Bales watched United dominate English football for 20 years now, I suspect being British he might want a piece of the Premier League champions pie. Hope Woodwards come home early for Fabregas or a midfielder of similar quality though personally. Think some might want to research the finances at United as well. The information out there for you but being honest if thinking we are skint helps you sleep...... best avoid them
There's a big difference between being skint and being unable to spend £80m+ on a player, plus you've already admitted to Real being in your way. They've openly declared their interest for months without success, yet you think that Utd could succeed if they wanted to? You also seem to have failed to notice that Ferguson's gone now, so you don't have the same draw right now. Thiago went to Bayern instead of you, so there's another club to add to the list of teams standing in your way.
Hmmm... He went Bayern because of Pep I'd like Bale to Madrid though, could work out very well for United.
Oh make no mistake, we could spend £80million should we need too. We wont have to as unless Messi is for sale I dont think anyones going for £80million.
Precisely. He didn't go to Man Utd because of Moyes, which could well be a problem for you. Should be ok signing Fellaini and Baines this summer, which might work out well, but he's not a big draw right now, I'm sure you'll admit. Yeah, you're right, we'll give you a big discount because we all love you so much.
Bales not worth £80million. Hes worth £40million tops but I suspect you'll get a good 10/20 more than that. You'll then fail to replace him as you will wait til deadline day before selling when theres nobody left. Standard procedure from your clown of an owner And Thiago went Bayern because he has worked with Pep. **** all to do with Bayern Munich or Moyes ( who stated he wasnt interested ). Plain and simply down to Pep being manager.
You may have failed to notice this, but I'll let you in on a little secret. You don't determine the value of football players. Sorry. Your club doesn't either, now that there are far bigger wallets around. You can't even browbeat Everton any more and you took their manager. £16m for Baines, isn't it? Better hurry up before someone else comes in for him.
It's not often that I agree with PNP, but I have to say that he is spot on with his analysis of Utd no longer having the lure for players that they did when Fergie was there. I think Utd are going to find it really tough to replace the likes of Scholes, Giggs, Carrick, Ferdinand, Evra, RVP, who are either retired or entering the autumn of their careers. When you look at the next generation of players at Utd - Cleverly, Jones, Smalling, Evans, De Gea, Macheda, Buttner etc. It looks like a tall order to recreate the achievements of their predecessors. That said, they could make a huge bid for Bale and it would put an entirely different spin on it.
Yes I'm sure Bale would jump at the chance to uproot his young family in order to join the third best squad in the league, and a manager who's won diddly squat in 15 years
Yes because its very difficult for a multimillionaire to move a few 100 miles up north isnt it. My word, imagine the struggles. up here in the north I can tell you its tough... 3rd best Squad? Who mentioned City? He'd be joining the best squad my friend.
