Just because he has a contract doesn't mean he will defo be driving for the team next season. It all depends how he performs the rest of the season. I can see Perez or Kobayashi taking over if anyone does. I'd go with Perez if I had to choose one. That would be me.... It will truly pain me if I have to support a driver driving for Ferrari again. It was bad enough when Kimi went there.
I have no problems with that at all. That'd be a powerhouse in F1. Newey making the cars, with Vettel and Alonso driving them. It'd be a new era of ferrari domination
I don't think he has long now to deliver results and consistency. Ferrari are not achieving right now and he could easily be a casualty as they try to resolve this. Kubica's name is mentioned a lot but would they want to gamble on another driver returning from a serious accident? If, indeed, he can return. Both Massa and Webber struggled when they came back, why would it be any different for Kubica? Actually, I think his situation is potentially worse because of the nature of his injuries: the severed hand, for example.
Contracts mean nothing to Ferrari, or any team for that matter. The Iceman was contracted to Ferrari for 2010 but they paid him off. Massa is just struggling to adapt and handle the car, while Alonso is a better driver in general and can extract all the performance from the car. Low confidence wont help Massa, but from what I can see on the track, confidence isn't the main issue - it's just making an already bad situation look even worse.
I'm afraid he hasn't been the same since his accident,which is understandable. For his own sake I hope he changes team.His confidence must be shot.Whether or not he or Ferrari will admit it he is clearly the no.2 driver there.
Sorry to dampen the enthusiasm on a couple of names being bandied about here, but here goes anyway: 1~\ Raikkonen is very very unlikely to be welcomed back unless it is to drive for a tiddler team. 2~\ Kubiça is very very unlikely to ever get back to where he was, never mind move further up.
Where can he go though? He can't go to Red Bull for exactly the same reason that he would leave Ferrari for and McLaren don't need him. If Schumacher retires early then Merc will snap up Di Resta. Although, if Rosberg leaves Merc and Shumacher retires then I suppose Massa could end up there but I would think it unlikely at the moment. Renault could be an option if Kubica doesn't come back and Petrov doesn't start showing some consistency. I suppose he could end up back at Sauber if either Kobayashi or Perez are head hunted. What about if Rubens retires, he could end up at Williams?

I think Westy and Irish could be on the money with the above prediction. Logically, it would seem Massa's best option - together with a drastic drop in income, if indeed it were ever to become an option.

Not sure it'd be Perez; would Ferrari really take on a rookie who has been (so far) a bit inconsistent? As for Kobayashi, I've never been that enamoured with him really. He's been in the points every race (disqualification in Oz wasn't his fault) and everyone raves about him but he seems a bit too reckless for my liking. Still, could be a good back up driver which is all that Ferrari are after really.
Sadly massa is heading for a bum drive possibly Williams, Kubica has blown his F1 carrer, Ferrari would love to get Hamilton, but wont, maybe Petrov.
