I would like to finish above Swansea but I don't think we will. Sunderland on the other hand look an absolute shambles. That result went very much the right way for us IMO.

The fact a PL ref doesn't know the rules took the absolute piss. I was absolutely tamping when that goal was allowed to stand, it's as ridiculous as the beach ball goal.

We still probably would have lost, but not conceding a bollocks equaliser would have certainly helped. I am glad MM tried to get back at 3-1(and lost 4-1) rather than trying to just limit the damage.

Yeah. About that, you see we can't just book away games for our club because they sell out before general sale. That's the difference ;O)

    VRD

Police limited our allocation. If allowed 5,000 we would have sold out.

Oh please, every other team in the Premier League would take 5,000 to Chelsea, the European Champions just two seasons ago. But that wasn't the point of my reply to JH.

Can't see it Steve, we will get better but Swansea ? since the new year have been bad can't see them getting any better. I think you've had their day in the sun all downhill for them now.

Complete bs mate. At Chelsea the away club has the choice of 1500 or 3000. Your club decides and they decided on 1500. Police had nothing to do with it just your clubs decision.

Hilarious. The big lady has made two appearances on this thread. As soon as Cardiff went above Swansea again he disappeared. What a joke..

The reason we took 1500 was due to the restrictions in place if we took the 3000. The police would have made it a bubble trip and we would have had to be bused in and out. So the reason we took 1500 was due to the police <ok>

Agree. They may be getting their info from the same club that just employed a 23 yr old Kazakh bedroom decorator as head of recruitment, that'll explain their strange conception that they are different to 18 other away clubs going to the Bridge.

Enough of the ticket stuff please gentlemen - this thread is about the relevent table positions of the two club.

Nice for Swansea to get above us for a change - we all know that's where they deserve to be.

Losing to anyone is hard to take, but away to Chelsea? Come on!! - nothing lost on Malky's scorecard for the season.

Swansea beating Sunderland yesterday was just the ticket. If they can beat the likes of them, and the Fulhams and Palaces of this world, that'll do us.

Then again, if they lost to any of the "nailed on" top clubs, that would do me as well in this two club personal battle.

As said many times before, this is at least a two tier division, if not three levels. What the top echelon do amongst themselves is of little concern to us. We need to target the points and hope clubs like Swansea can help us along the way.

Next onto a team im surprised to see in our so called mini league Norwich and the Jacks have west spam (hope the jacks win) so we could be a few points behind come the derby game.

No probs Eldon - my post wasn't that serious to warrant grovelling............<laugh><ok>

There's enough prick-waving on other threads not to need it this one - let's keep it going through the season at a sensible level. There could be a lot of twists and turns to come as we move on.......and remember, the Jacks are bound to finish above us anyway.

Just a quick thought though. By next weekend, looks like the Jacks will have been above us for two weeks out of ten so far this season.

Too much of a gap to make up for us now. Surely they can't be caught again this season? We are focussed on survival and perhaps they will help us.

This thread should be made a sticky. Just so long as decent banter can be maintained it's one worth keeping for the season :)

This. You will lose the odd game you expect to win and will win the odd game you expect to lose. Nothing is predictable in this league. Out of our next four games, we could easily take maximum points, but could also end up with a total of around 7 points too <ok>
