I missed your thread were you admitted you were wrong over Basel thrashing us so forgive me if I doubt you and think you're just a liar.

  2. Oh, come on! That is so clearly nothing more than wishful thinking, just the same as all fans "predict" that their team will win. It's trite to say that no one knows what the outcome of a football match would be (or we'd all be Pool winners), so any expression of what any score will be is nothing more than wishful thinking.

None of which detracts from these basic facts:-

    (a) Mourhino is strongly rumoured to be returning to English football this Summer, supported by strong hints from the man himself
    (b) It is strongly rumoured that United will be announcing the retirement of Fergie this Summer
    (c) Ronaldo has been linked with a move back to United
    (d) Mourhino has been strongly linked with the United job (following Fergie's eventual retirement) for several years
    (e) United's manager hot-seat is still the biggest managerial placement in world football
    (f) Mourhino is the only viable contender to fill the colossal shoes that will be left behind by Fergie

Or do you honestly believe that all of this is nothing more than coincidence?

I know you guys don't like to contemplate the possibility that you have all been whipping yourselves up into a fruitless frenzy over half of this season and have got it completely and utterly wrong, but please don't make the mistake of shooting the messenger, or of descending into personal invective. Until something is actually announced, all of what I say is nothing (can be nothing) more than my own personal opinion, and if I end up being wrong, I will openly admit it.

  3. I've already addressed that point in my post above yours.

To get back to the debate, however, where do you think Mourhino will be in the Summer? Real, CFC, or United?

How much are you wagering at the bookies on being right? Good odds, you'll be able to retire if you back your mouth.

  5. How much have you put on Mourhino going to CFC? And if you've have backed anything, how safe do you think your bet is?

I haven't even expressed an opinion on whether I want Jose back yet let alone whether I think he will come <doh> And why do you always answer a question with a question rather than actually giving your answer? Scared you'll look like just another loudmouth tool??

  7. Not give an answer? Are you taking the piss?

I have set out exactly why I believe Mourhino will go to United. I don't know how clearer I can be!

    Oh, and here's another reason.

United are, this very week, floating a share issue on the New York Stock Exchange. The announcement that Fergie will retire has a very real possibility to damage share prices as soon as they are issued. Do you really think that United will appointed an untried, untested, non-entity (on the world stage) such as Moyes, rather than the widely known, highly respected and revered, title and championship winner called Mourhino?

If you were an American looking to spend big money in buying United shares, which of those two would fill you will more confidence?

This really is not rocket science.

The question was how much have you bet on it? D I don't see your answer so I guess that you're the one 'taking the piss'

It was inevitable that Fergie would retire 'soon' but no-one predicted it would come this year. He said not but a few days ago he had no plans to retire and he's been talking about signings for next year already. This is a shock to everyone. Therefore the timing with Jose probably becoming availabile is either coincidence or very fortunate timing for United (if they want him). There is no way in hell this is some eloborate plan concocted in the United boardroom for months.

My view, he was due to come back to us, nothing is sealed and United may sweep in. I remain 100% of the view that if Fergie had not have retired today, Jose would still be coming to us. Therefore the gutter press were right, you were wrong (or wumming!!) but things have possibly changed very quickly in 24 hours.

    Wait and see.

    HIAG: -

    Moyes to United
    Jose to CFC
Mancini to be given 1 more year
    Ancelotti to Real
    Martinez to Everton

Oh and CFC and Arsenal for top 4, at the expense of the spudlings.

Post your predictions and let's see how close we get!!

HIAG posted the same on the United board and has been shot down there as well. Seems like more a case of wishful thinking again, much like when it was predicted we'd get battered by Barca, then Bayern, then Basel!!

If Jose comes, I frankly can't wait for the HIAG apology!!

No he won't do that mate, his primary role is to Wum which is why Ginge & SW6 banned him. I'm going to run for Mod if a place becomes available and in memory of Ginge I will make it my first job to do kick his wumming arse off the Chelsea board just like Cym & Piskie have done along with the Liverpool boys etc. <ok>
