yea, starch doesn't work well at all really. Dreft is decent enough but it still has its fallings. I have already gone through around 4 white hoods as I haven't found anything that works after a really good messy night. The klan becomes an expensive hobby, it really does
Seyi Olofinjana was £3m and is the most expensive player we have on our books. I think at some point in the not too distant, we might well find out that we paid nothing like £2.6m for Prossy, it just suited both clubs you make the fee look high. While he's not being played, he's unlikely to score, I don't think that's a particularly hard concept to grasp. A bit similar to Waghorn, who cost a similar amount, barely gets a game and has the same goal scoring record this season as Prossy. Maybe someone should start three threads about him?
I think this is bugging you...come on admit it just to let you know.. we are all praying for prossy..
No, we just find it funny The only reason I have even heard of this bloke is because you came on our board telling us how good he was, how many goals he had scored in the German second division, and how he was much better than Jamie Vardy. It's our board, we can mock him all we like!
You have obviously been well tutoured BFM .... I alluded to him as 'Prostrateitch' on the initial thread lauding his imminent signing ...
,,, yes well ..... fair enough .... and £5 million back then would be what now? ... to put it in perspective we used part of the £11 million we got selling Heskey to Liverpool ... which was then Liverpool's record signing ... applying what I like to call "the Andy Carroll scale' to the transction that would be something like £20 million at today's stupid prices ... incredible ... Peter Taylor you will never be forgotten at our club....
@OLM serious question. How much did you pay for Stephen Hunt? Thought he was more than £3m @FosseFilberto - apply the Carroll scale to the total amount Taylor spent - approx £26m back then, what's that now? £50-£60m equivalent?
To be fair, we paid what we did for Waggy because of his potential and because he had a fantastic first season with us. He's still only 22 now. Prossie at 25 is at his peak and should be hammering them in. Everyone understands that he can't score while he's not playing (although he is getting on as a sub). Has I stated previously, what amazes everyone is that he was £2.6m despite having little pedigree and in his prime yet not getting near the first team. I'm sure Prossie just needs to find his feet in English football but until then, after the grandiose predictions you and Charlie made pre-season without ever seeing the guy, you're going to have to put up with the stick.
Stephen Hunt was our best player that season, regardless of the fee payed for him. He was our top scorer, player of the season and injured for half of it.
