Looks like it's going to happen very soon for both clubs, which is only a good thing for the long suffering fans in this area.

Your scheme seems to be getting there and ours seems a bit more intuitive, so I don't think we'll have the same sorts of delays that you have had.

Good old Sainsburys...they're the ones whose money is making this happen. Perhaps both Bristol clubs should put an orange stripe somewhere on their kits in appreciation of this giant philanthropic corporation...

natch your the same as ever. getting things wrong twisting peoples comments to make you look good! would of thought you may have grown up a bit by now but no i was wrong. i was not patronising you at all. i actually tried to be reasonable with you. i fully explained that your concern was no longer a concern. the stadium name or stadium itself is nothing to do with it. its the gates which has the plaque on it. thats the memorial for those who died.

    http://www.bristolrovers.co.uk/page/LatestNews/0,,10328~2215894,00.html

also note its called the memorial gates as stated in the link.

i dont know why i bother with you. your a ****ed up soul with no personality and you think you know everything about everyone but instead you have no clue at all. your fascination with me on 606 having multi accounts shows how ****ed up you are in your head and how wrong you are. you need to get over yourself and get laid or something as since your missus left you, you been pretty much a complete ****er. get a grip will you. jeez, what a prick <doh>

look forward to your non-reply :)

bottom line banksy means the ground the plaque is on. not the stadium itself. the link above that i already added confirms the gates are the for the memory of those who died.

"I'm not going to reply again to this thread after this so feel free to twist things however you wish" --- course you wont natch <doh>

No it doesn't it is referring to the ground itself, not the ground the plaque is on. no way.

why is the gates/plaque listed then and not the ground??? exactly.

chin up. its not as if any of you actually go to the stadium on remembrance day so not effecting you anyway. if rovers were no at the mem and bristol rugby was there on their own and then sold up like our plans. none of you would be bothered. fact that its rovers doing it and therefore getting 1 up on you, your now bothered.
    get over it :)

I've changed my mind and decided to return to this thread due to the personal attack on me by the resident idiot, so here goes... (I'll do it in parts Private so you can keep up)

Part 1 - "natch your the same as ever. getting things wrong twisting peoples comments to make you look good!"

I'm not twisting anything, I'm just countering your absurd theory that THE MEMORIAL STADIUM in not a memorial.

Part 2 - "would of thought you may have grown up a bit by now but no i was wrong. i was not patronising you at all. i actually tried to be reasonable with you"

Not sure what you mean there and by going on your further comments that's pretty ironic.

You were patronising me by telling me that my opinion was wrong, and if by being reasonable you mean lying about whether THE MEMORIAL STADIUM is a memorial or not, then you clearly don't know the definition of being 'reasonable'

Part 3 - "i fully explained that your concern was no longer a concern. the stadium name or stadium itself is nothing to do with it. its the gates which has the plaque on it. thats the memorial for those who died."

    Patronising and incorrect (See above)

    Part 4 - http://www.bristolrovers.co.uk/page/...215894,00.html

"also note its called the memorial gates as stated in the link."

Link has now been removed. And of course they are called they memorial gates, it's also called THE MEMORIAL STADIUM.

Part 5 - "i dont know why i bother with you."

    Touche

Part 6 - "your a ****ed up soul with no personality"

A matter of opinion but that's fine (I allow people to have their own opinions without trying to 'correct' them)

Part 7 - "and you think you know everything about everyone but instead you have no clue at all"

Not true. For instance, I've seen the film 'Gandhi' but I don't think I know everything about him. And also the woman from two doors down, sometimes she's all happy, says hello and we have a chat. Other times she doesn't acknowledge you and looks dead shifty (wonder what's going on there?')

Part 8 - "your fascination with me on 606 having multi accounts shows how ****ed up you are in your head and how wrong you are."

Not gonna bother with this one, old news TONE

Part 9 - "you need to get over yourself and get laid or something"

My bedroom activities are my own business (are you a pervert?)

Part 10 - "as since your missus left you, you been pretty much a complete ****er."

Again that's my own business but FYI we've been together for 12 years and are very happy together. I still enjoy the occasional **** though when she's not around (God bless the internet and all who sail in her)

Part 11 - "get a grip will you. jeez, what a prick"

    IRONY.

banksy, im not the one who said i wasnt going to reply <doh> natch was. yet he replied twice since! apparently its because i personally attacked him! he seems to forget he went off on one first saying i was patronising him. he gave his opinion saying he was sickened and all the ****e. i actually respectfully replied back saying no need to be sickened and explained why with facts. he took my comment the complete wrong way and went off on one at me. he ended his rant saying he wont reply back. i knew he would reply back after my reply and the bitch did, twice. and had the cheek to say he was only replying to the personal attack i gave him.
    same old natch :)

he had an opinion which was fine. his opinion and feelings (being sickened) was however based on wrong info. in my reply, i only mentioned his concerns was nothing to worry about and explained why. there was nothing wrong with my reply. then he came at me with crap like im patronising him! the only mistake i made was actually reply to him as i should of remembered he puts 2 and 2 together and gets 35 <doh>

I'm afraid Natch, and Wiz are right Captain, thats why its called the Memorial Stadium. My old pop ( who's no longer here) would have been very saddened if a supermarket ends up there.

That was universally condemned by City fans Mendi, as you well know. It was put right by a City fans company and the donations made by City fans went to charity if I remember rightly.
