First of all that challenge from that Wigan lad... a very bad tackle and the FA should ban him. He seems a nice lad and he will be a top player but that was reckless and he has to realise this.

But the main point of this thread was will the FA punish West Ham? Our seats are at the front of the East Upper very close to the away fans. When Lamps scored his 200th goal he ran to the corner by the West Ham fans and the East Lower. Loads and I mean loads of West Ham fans were then chucking coins at our players. It was as if they were chucking one coin which is still out of order, people were throwing handful of coins at our players from both the Shed Lower and Upper. Other objects were chucked as well... I hope West Ham get done for that and it's good to see it was highlighted in MOTD2.

West Ham fans are pure scum. The vile chants at Spurs this season as well. The pikey boys got put in their place yesterday and their fans (who they big up so much) were poor. And the irony when they call us scum...

So... FA.... gunna do anything?
 
Well if they don't it will only get worse as with everything else in life, stop it before it gets out of hand, one coin has led to 2 and so on, and now as you say and handful at a time.

Perhaps I'll apply for a job as a coin girl (as opposed to a ball boy) I could do with a few extra quid. Finders keepers
 
Did anyone else see the funny side when JT was warming up in front of the WH fans, that little bending over (to stretch of course) meant he was waving his arse at them, deliberate or not, I would have <devil>

Yep he was doing exactly that. Showing his arse at them. And waving imaginary trophies in the air. It really got on their nerves! Was brilliant!

exactly nothing wrong with a bit of banter throwing stuff crosses the line tho. as for the pikeys there still the biggest bunch of delusional twonk in London they cling to that world cup win like they won it think Bobby Moore was the greatest defender ever and that Carrol is world class and to add to it constantly spout **** about the quote on quote West Ham way even tho no such thing exists and if it did it would be the way of a club from east london that despite its over bloated opinion of itself has really very little to show for that arrogance.

Got put in our place! :D

What, got put in our place by a team with a 55m substitute and with a centre back that cost more than our entire squad! Yeah you proper showed us didn't you! :D

Not to mention we scored a perfectly good equaliser that may well have changed the game.

It is embarrassing how far you are behind Manchester United. Considering what you've spent down the years you should be dominating domestically and in Europe every season.

We don't claim to be anything other than a lower mid table premier league club and until we get a sugar daddy owner that buys us lots of trophies, that's how it shall stay.

So a few coins got chucked. This has always happened in football and always will. Slap on the wrist and move on.

Enjoy the Europa next season too :biggrin:

Also I don't agree with the coin throwing, we have some morons as fans, like every club, however I don't have any sympathy for Terry and Lampard if they got hit because they should have stayed away from the away fans instead of trying to act like hard men and wind up the West Ham fans, if neither had gone to the away section there wouldn't be any story of coin throwing.

If you saw the game yesterday then you would know that we should have tonked you for 5 or 6! You got lucky. Oh and pushing a defender in the back isn't a foul?

So we're having a bad season but we did win the Champions League last season so I'd call that dominating Europe.

And as for Europa League next season, we're third... The top 4 get Champions League. The next 2 sides get Europa League. Enjoy the relegation scrap. You wouldn't be missed. Hoof ball may work but it's boring as **** to watch and your fans may have more fun chucking coins at teams like Millwall...

You fully deserved to win the game at Upton Park this season. We were poor and you got a deserved 3 points but with regards to yesterday's match, we did put you in your place. It should have been 5 or 6. You're lucky our finishing wasn't that great.

I don't know if Lampard intentionally went to wind the West Ham fans up when he scored but that is his normal celebration. He always goes to that corner... Oh and why do you hate Lampard so much?

As for Terry he was doing his warm up along that side of the pitch and in front of your fans. It was all a bt of banter that but the coin throwing was uncalled for.
 
That tackle was made without the slightest consideration for the safety of his opponent. It was worse than Nani's red card by a long stretch and not because of the outcome.

Halsey is a joke of a human being never mind a ref.

At least a 3 match ban and any player doing that should also face a massive fine. If all players play in this way there will no fk all players left on the field after one season, you have no right to go at the ball like that straight leg studs out.

Martinez is a giant douchebag for condoning it with is idiotic Intent argument. if he was on the end of that in his playing days he would still be banging on about it, that could have ended the guys career FFS and it may shorten his career by a couple of years even if he is OK. Damage from tackles like that can leave the guy with knee issues later in life too.

I agree, it was a bad bad tackle and he should be punished and yes, it was worse than Nani's but tbf to Halsey, I don't think he saw it. Which begs the question what was the official on that side doing? Surely he would have seen it!?.

That Wigan lad seems a genuinely nice lad. I've seen him a bit now and his interviews and he isn't a really rash player. It was a massive misjudgement on his part and he should still be punished. Martinez comes across as a nice guy as well and a top manager but he did disappoint me a little in his interview.

i think that a lot of linesman are scared to give a decision like that and even if he had of called the ref's attention to it what could he of done other than give a free kick? surely the ref has to of seen a tackle him self to warrant what colour card it should be?

Halsey did see it, he seen the challenge but not the foul so the FA as per their crooked rules will be able to do nothing.

The other officials have communication with the ref, Halsey took an earful from the linesman before sending off Shelvey at Liverpool. You could see him touch his earpiece on that day, 100% he was told something by the lino.

This tackle was in clear view of the linesman. He said fk all and one has to ask why these extra officials do not speak up on a consistent basis, they hardly ever do. the official who stands on near the goals too is the most useless of all.


I am beginning to think that reffing politics dictates that if one of these officials says something to the ref and it's wrong, they face a lot of bull**** and get punished. Why else would these numpties be so spineless because hey are very spineless, fkn jellyfish <ok>

Video evidence should be admissible even if the ref has seen it, it should used to right wrong decisions made by refs on matters like this.

halsey is a piss poor ref even if it was on the far side of the pitch., Piss poor. He makes decisions on what he thinks happened and not on what he saw very often.
