Always used one space. Unless I have pressed space bar twice inadvertently. You get odd things with different devices. On some sites I pads won't insert apostrophes and question marks appear upside down.
Suspect we could well see a point where there is just the PL and Championship to keep Pro/Rel alive, and the lower league clubs.. I dunno? Go amateur? It's a horrendous thought but with COVID having dire impacts on a number of clubs it might be seen as the opportunity. TV money may then be spread down to the C'ship too which I guess would be one good element of it, but the competition would be absolutely destroyed as a result. Imagine going down to the C'ship and knowing "well that's ok we can just reload and go back up to the PL in a few years for our next go".
