I agree about getting Quarshie in, I’d like to see same starting defence as our last cup game when we actually played like a proper team!!! Liverpool is a free hit let’s face it We had Quarshie, Edwards & Wood, kept a clean sheet and actually scored 3… seems like an awful long time ago already! Side notes - why is Matsuki not getting a look in too after that belter of a goal? & why is J Rob not playing either!? He was our best player in pre season & at the start of the season!
I know Fraser has been decent, but he is blocking the path for more exciting players. And Azaz should be swapping out with Matsuki - not a striker.
This season, THB has been shocking. Stephens has been our best CB. I'd drop THB personally; he's not been good at all since he signed permanently.
Totally agree, Fraser has been working hard & playing well but is a very 1 dimensional player. Also, come to think of it that Norwich game is the only time we started both Stewart & Archer together and hey ho.. it worked!!
It infuriated me that he took off Fellows and not Fraser today. Like Martin, he clearly has his favourites.
I’d be tempted to go 3 at the back again & with some rotations for fitness levels maybe it’s: Bazunu Quarshie, Wood, Edwards Downes Fraser Azaz, Jander, Manning Archer, Stewart

Is there a way to get both Stewart & Archer on with 4 at the back do you think? So far our best performance of the season was Norwich away with 3 at the back, maybe it’s not the worst idea with the attacking options we have?
We better change something as we are softer than my hands after washing the dishes with Fairy. If you can’t deal with McBurnie, this league is going ro eat you up and **** you out.
Fraser is more flexible - he has the capability to play at wing back, which he ultimately did. I agree that taking off Fellows was an odd move though. No issue taking off Roerslev (who was as dynamic as Maitland-Niles once again) and putting Fraser at RWB and bringing Scienza left.
I'd much rather use the game to get more time using Still's preferred formation than changing back to 3 CB's. Still clearly isn't going anywhere anytime soon sadly so we may as well try and get better at what he wants us to do.
