IQ87 asked you a direct question - "confirm that now is time to be shot of Wenger," to which you, effectively, say "yes." It's all there in black and white. I couldnt believe what I was reading.
Simple. post the quote where I answered 'yes' to that question. You are adding **** up on top of **** up
No, stop right there. You agreed with IQ87 - who you know to be a rabid "Wenger Out!" proponent - that it's maybe time for the club to be shot of Wenger. That doesn't sound very much like "I want Wenger in," to me, Pixie.
You are tying yourself up in knots you claimed I said 'yes' now you're saying I said maybe, but you've also claimed I said 'I want shot of Wenger' We might as well just fast forward to you claiming that you've ****ed this up on purpose
We can keep going round and round in circles on this, Pixie, and neither of us get anywhere fast. I think we've each stated our case as clearly as we are able, and it's going to have to be left to the lads to decide for themselves what you meant when you replied to 87's direct question (after Sanj said that anyone still supporting Wenger was a traitor to the club).
You could have saved yourself going round in circles and making yet another wum **** up if only you'd actually read what I've written
anyways lets get back on topic chaps, piskie do you think the winner of the nld has a good shout at the title?
Yes, it would give the winner a huge impetus. Whoever wins on Saturday, it will have a massive bearing in terms of who will finish above each other for Arsenal and Spurs. Can Leicester maintain their place at the top until the end ? Everybody has been saying they'll falter and they are still there. there are 30 points still to be won and lost so think its still wide open in terms of who will win it.
If we beat Arsenal, I believe we will go on to win the title. If we don't win, I think Arsenal will take heart from that, and finish above us. Whether they go on to win the title, I'm not sure.
If we beat you, that will put pressure on Leicester and might cause them to faulter. If you beat us, you go level on points with us, and neither or us put any additional pressure on Leicester. That's the reasoning behind my last post, Pixie.
Do you think the expectation for you to beat us will put pressure on you ? We've had a wretched week, but there's no better game for us to be playing really, against the team who we can draw level with and take 3 points off of them. Being away from the Emirates might actually suit us at the moment. I think Leicester are under pressure whoever wins on Saturday. The only result that suits them is a draw. Btw it's 'falter' not 'faulter', you failed pedant
I will have to agree with haig on his point about spurs using the win to possibly go win the title and arsenal using it to cement a top 4 spot and no more, maybe thats just arsenal falling short so often over the years and also a little to do with spurs looking so consistent compared to the rest for most of the season so far. but obviously i do hope Leicester take it if we dont push on and win every game remaining and win the title ourselves.
The pressure is on Spurs now though. Everybody is expecting us I lose on Saturday and screw up our title challenge. If we do lose, then I think the title is beyond us, but I don't necessarily think that Spurs will go on to win it, Leicester could still maintain their place at the top. As I said, there's still 30 points to be won and lost.
I don't think there is an expectation that we will beat you. I expect you to beat us, in fact. Yes, that's my fault.
I disagree. The pressure is on Arsene after years and years and years of bottling. And specialising in failure. Next season will be much tougher to win league with Chelsea United and City all better
